Steve Eminger on defense. Otherwise it looks like the same lineup (and the same line combinations) that beat the Islanders Thursday, meaning Brian Boyle is prucha’d, along with Stu Bickel and Eminger.
Henrik Lundqvist starts in goal for the 10th time in 11 games. Mathieu Garon starts for the Lightnings.

JT Miller looks fantastic! His poise in carrying the puck up the middle of the ice hasnt happened here from a center in a long time. Everything is usually allong the boards. He also had a sequence where he held on to the puck until his linemates set up. Outstanding.

It’s amazing, Brodeur is playing probably his best hockey in years, maybe trying that deer antler stuff, maybe not and the devils team plays that same system the devils have been playing forever. It doesn’t matter who they lose, they seem to plug a guy in and they don’t mis a beat, truly remarkable.

Speaking of bets, I had about $187 stored in a BETUS.com account for a few years. I decided before the Ravens Patriots AFCCG this year that I was going to put all the money on the Patriots winning, in hopes that they’d lose. The payout for a Patriots win would only have been about $38.
Next day, someone from BETUS calls me and asks if I placed the bet since the account hadn’t been used in so long and the bet didn’t make any sense. I told the guy I did, and that I placed the bet so that the Patriots would lose, it was the best $187 I ever spent. He starts laughing, says that’s the first time he’s ever heard that someone wanted to lose money, then asks if I want to deposit more money in the account. I told him, next time I want a Boston team to lose, Ill be sure to deposit more money to which he laughs again.

the most complete game of the season if you omit about half of it
thought this was the best Lundqvist has probably been the whole season and the same goes for Hagelin who was driving hard to the net all night and looked very involved. thought the young guys looked good again. still not sure Richards is dressing for these games and I thought Del Zotto was terrible.
