  1. ~I decided a couple weeks ago not to fight it anymore, I should appreciate a genius at work, there aren’t many. The guy is amazing.~

~1. his decision to have Touchdown Tommy sneak the ball over the goalline on 4th and goal.~
~2. His play call for the 3rd TD to Hernandez.~
~3. The 4th downs that he goes for in his own territory~

~1. On Goal to go situations, especially 4th and goal, all other idiot coaches hand the ball off in the backfield. You dont hand the ball off in the backfield. That puts the ball 3-5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and allows the defensive line time for penetration. Belichick doesnt concern himself with a possible Brady injury. He has him QB sneak in short yardage situations.~

~2. Kevin Gilbride of the Giants has Eli Manning throw a back-corner of the endzone, back-shoulder passes. It’s stupid. By doing that, you’re bringing luck into the equation. The throw has to be perfect, the receiver has to make a catch over a defender and keep his feet in bounds. Belichick spreads the offense with a 5 WR set, runs a simple 3 yard out route from the 5 yard line, Hernandez catches it and strolls into the end zone.~

~3. Coaches just punt the ball away in most 4th down situations. Belichick understands that the most important aspect of football is possession of the football. Especially with his porous defense, the best defense is a good offense. Retaining possession of the ball in 4th down situations give your team a better chance to score and prevents the other team from scoring.~

~Those are just 3 things that set him apart from other coaches. Belichick = Perfect combination of brains and balls.~

  2. I seriously wish we could sue to league for ‘stupidity and greed and pissing everyone off’.

Anyways, I’m like many, I miss the game, but right now I’m so flipping furious at Bettman, Daly and the league, that I really really really hope the PA countersues and this goes to court for decades, thus totally destroying the league. The owners/Bettman/Daly don’t deserve to own a spoon, let alone an entire team or run a league. Also, I truly hope that law firm Prokaur Rose or whatever its called, gets its hand caught in some ‘cookie jar’ and is forced to shutdown due to multi-billion dollars they owe in damages AND they all go to jail.

So disgusted with all of them.

  3. Can it be argued that the NHL used the lockout as a negotiating tactic, therefore are not negotiating in good faith? It has always been we will not play without a CBA….

  4. Id rather be family-less than be related to Mark Sanchez, and friendless than be friends with Mark Sanchez. I’d rather be blind than see Mark Sanchez. I’d rather be paralyzed than be Mark Sanchez. LOL Im just kidding around. I havent really cared too much about sports since Connecticut tragedy.

  5. Jon Gruden: “I can’t understand for the life of me why Mark threw that football” Well, Jon, you can’t understand because despite your 1 super bowl ring, you’re a moron.

Mark Sanchez is better comedy fodder than Seinfeld. Buttfumble!

  6. HAHAHA!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Rex Ryan was just pumping his fist after the shanked punt!! Pump your fist now, Rexy!!!! HAHAHA!!!

  8. cccp, what a cuntry, heh, received wisdom comes real cheap. But stick to the school shootings, a much safer subject than answering your own conundrums.
Your Morgan Freeman dreck was sooo exhilarating. Poka….

  9. Carp – i saw the 12/12/12 concert – you were right, Vedder/Waters blew my mind and Adam Sandler was hirarious!

    Lockout – pah!

  10. It’s not fair that people are seated first-come, first-serve. It should be based on who’s hungriest
