The Vezina Trophy winner will host the Henrik Lundqvist Hockey ProCamp, a new youth instructional hockey camp at the Brewster Ice Arena Aug. 25-26.
Here are the basics:
Open to boys and girls ages 7-15, the two-day event is Aug. 25-26 with two sessions split by age: 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon for ages 7-10 and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for ages 11-15 at Brewster Ice Arena.
Lundqvist will be on site the entire camp to direct camp activities, provide instruction and give daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of hockey and beyond. He will be joined by a selection of the top prep and collegiate coaches from the New York area.

I know, I’m coming again with the almost crimelike thoughts, but what about Sykora ? With my unbreakable hatred for debbies, I, kind of, was surprised and liked the way he was playing in a regular season. His statistic is not bad at all – played all 82 games (reliably good health) with 21-23-44 (on par with “bore stiff” Doan) and could be had for a year at immeasurably cheaper price as a substitute, rental, etc. Your thoughts?... please, be civilize.

Just to bring up a topic…
The Rangers have addressed their struggle to score goals by acquiring Nash. Yet, we need a balanced offense and can’t just rely on Nash. Guys like Hagelin, Stepan, and Kreider have to take the next step next and show that they can bring it consistently over an 82 game season. Richards has to prove that last year was an adjustment. I expect a more consistent season out of him, too.
I don’t think guys like Bourque, Thomas, or McIlrath have a good chance of playing in NY this year unless there are injuries. I think the Rangers are going to add at least 1 more vet forward, probably not Doan…
I am praying that Mike Sauer gets healthy enough to start skating soon.
There is a feeling in the air that they are in “win-now” mode….but this roster should be together for at least the next 3-4 years…no? Am I missing something? Rangers fans and writers should start believing that they can win now and over the next few years…and even after that, too…

NHL Network is showing NYR vs Bruins in Boston game from last season. Not sure when this game was played (NHLN does not mention it) exactly but the Rangers are leading 3-0. Anyway, on one of the plays Dubinsky got hit with a puck in the face and had to leave the game. The guys who call the game (Bruins broadcaster) were praising Dubinsky as heart and soul, win at all cost guy. And I couldn’t agree more with them. I am going to miss Brandon Dubinsky.
