ha, thanks and yes I did. I just didn’t reply because when I noticed it, it was around 0300 your time and didn’t want to wake you!

    no gatorade!

manny, if you go to defending the core, please ask mr klein for my wire tapping device back!

  3. I wanted to make sure I didnt wake u or piss u off with it. I forget u have an odd work schedule.

  4. Whenever I look to the right and see tweets saying “Imseanavery” I keep thinking to myself “Wonder how long it’ll be before it’s “whoseanavery”

  5. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

You can text me anytime you want, no worries. Yes, my work schedule is very odd, but no worries bro!

This playoff beard is making me thirsty!

  6. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

crap, VinceA day is doming up and I don’t have a thing to wear!!

  7. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

yes, you are on it! Do you watch the show 2 broke girls??

  8. Just had to put it on the iPod.

My dad is from Germany, but all the German I know I learned from Rammstein. Suffice to say, I’d probably wind up in prison if I visited the country.

  9. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

In case no one mentioned it since game 6, brich was a STUD in that game adn I’m not talking about with scoring!! BIG GAME BRAD!!!

  10. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

In case no one mentioned it since game 6, brich was a STUD in that game adn I’m not talking about with scoring!! BIG GAME BRAD!!!

  11. I’m feeling good about tonight.

But let’s not kid ourselves if they don’t win it was not a successful year.

Certainly a year for pride in the players, the team identity, and another building block for the future.

But more was expected than taking an 8th seed to 7 games in the first round.

  12. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

sorry for the double post folks

    ha, pretty funny

I actually do watch it and it is really funny. I can only imagine the character oleg on the show is much like a real life cccp!

  13. Oleg? I always found this name to be funny… don’t know why.

I just saw a preview of that show… i like Kat Dennings… i might watch it now

  14. I think Rangers on the PK purposely defend at top of the faceoff circles and give Karlsson a lot of room at the point. They must have studied tape of him and figured out it’s how best to keep him contained. Hard to explain otherwise because they give him so much room. Scary way to play but can’t argue with the results thus far.

  15. I’m having nightmarish thoughts of Ottawa scoring two early goals off deflections, instilling panic in the MSG crowd.

But I’m also thinking of the Rangers leaving the ice with a three-goal lead.

So I’m bi-polar. What of it?

  16. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

it really is pretty funny and the guy oleg makes the show IMHO!!

  17. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger! Maybe the tunnel should be kept open for a few minutes after the Rangers hit the ice…HERE COMES WILLIS BOYLE. Plays the 1st shift, scores a goal and then goes back to the dressing room. Just a fantasy.

  18. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

Anyone know if “The right way” t shirts are available anywhere yet?

  19. It’s not that bad, Wicky. As long as you don’t dress up or own their 15 cd boxed set made of sex toys.

  20. Play hard boys and play smart…pick up your man and finish your checks…most importantly dont sit back and let them dictate the play. Floor it and keep it floored!!! Good luck and God’s speed!

  21. All long time Ranger fans know that the hockey gods never allow us anything easy. I have no doubt that we will be hyper-ventilating during an OT tonight listening to Sam harp on the 0-7 record in our last 7 OT’s.

  22. But if I score the winner, AC/DC will be singin’ “you pick me all night long”.

  23. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

that was supposed to be a secret bucket mouth!!

  24. Matty'"Neilbetterskatewithhisheadup"boy on

Hey guys. Matteau, I agree on the PK philosophy. PK was awesome last game. They do come out far on some point men.

As for this season being a success if they lose, what place did you expect them to finish in at the beginning of the season. Be honest……

  25. This was the only thing I was looking forward to (except for the actual 5:30 whistle). I need something to get me through!!!

  26. If we don’t recall Redden to replace Staal, we are done.

We need Redden’s leadership in a time like this. It’s imperative.

    Get it done.

  27. Mattyboy – I expected this team to finish 6th or lower and possibly fight to get into the playoffs. I am one of those people that will declare this season a success regardless of tonight’s outcome.

  28. The regular season was a success…nothing can take away from that. Especially the banner for our division title.

But come playoff time if you’re the #1 seed I think anything less than a Conference Finals is a failure. Simple fact.

The Rangers are a very young team, of course. So the thoughts are positive going into next season that we’ll tweak a little bit and still have the same roster.

Including Game 7 hero Brandon Dubinsky!!!

  29. Hi all! I’m with Tony and thank heavens he has shorts on! No pants yet, but we’re making progress!

  30. Not even then, is it a success.

    “Success” would be Eastern Finals.

    “Delightful” would be Second Round.

“Dissapointing” is a a First Round exit.

  31. *LGBT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

    Tony! Refresh, Refresh, Refresh!

    Smokeless Tony!

  32. Yeah, in my opinion, the season’s a total failure if this team doesn’t, at the very least, make it to the Conference Final. I’d hate for them to end up like the Sharks of the last few years. Regular season success, with nothing to show for it in the playoffs.

  33. Did anyone see that the CT Whale swept the Sound Tigers?

Even better, WELLMAN scored the OT goal.

  34. Jimbo (Win It For TONY!) on

Tony! Mama! We’re all pulling for you, Tony – and so are our beloved Rangers!

  35. Gravy, Swedish Meatballs with Noodles and on

Disagree. The playoffs would be a failure if they lose tonight, but the overall season will still be great.

  36. Matty I would have said between 4th and 6th in the conf. But even then they needed to get out of the first round. Getting in was good enough the last year or two.

As I said they gave us a lot to feel good and be proud about this year, I don’t want to minimize that. But in the end if they dont get past the 8th seed in the first round it casts a cloud on the season.

I have an idea, let’s not talk about this now? :)

  37. Noah-auer-uccarello-minger, 29 on

Boy, am I nauseous thinking about tonight.

  38. Brandon Prust on

Win or lose, it doesn’t matter, because I banged Chris Neil’s sister last night!

  39. Considering this team wasn’t even protected to be near the top of the East and still got 1st place is a huge accomplishment. They overachieved by a lot this season. I want the win, but if they lose I’m not going to be disappointed since this season was a huge step in the right direction.

  40. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

I’m wearing the boogey t shirt today…hope it works!

  41. Jimbo (Win It For TONY!) on

    >>>Win or lose, it doesn’t matter, because I banged Chris Neil’s sister last night!

Oy!!! I hope for her (and *THE PRUST’s* sake, that she doesn’t look like her brother!)

  42. Rockin’ the Leetch jersey all around D.C. today……… needless to say it hasn’t been a big hit.

  43. Gravy, Swedish Meatballs with Noodles and on

White Graves jersey for me…switched to it after the 1st in Game 6.

  44. Plan for tonight- come out swinging, use the energy of MSG( my son and I will be making sure it’s in abundance), take away their space and time. Use our newly acquired speed. And hit them hard. Do not play timid. Sometimes being young and oblivious helps. As long as Torts goes along with that.

  45. Gravy, Swedish Meatballs with Noodles and on

Not wearing the jersey yet, as it’s not proper work attire, but it will be on whilst I start tonight’s meal in honor of Hank and Hags.

  46. I am wearing exactly the same outfit I was wearing on Monday. My outfit = victory? Please?

  47. Callahan home for me, Hank Heritage for my son. Was debating Callahan Winter Classic, but decided it had to be blue. Thoughts?

  48. I went with the sleeveless Metallica “Master of the Puppets” black album cover tee, camel work jeans and adidas sambas. Attorney Appropriate?

  49. Anxiety doesn’t properly describes the situation, Sioux…..Cramps is closer to it…

  50. I only wore my NY Rangers cap. Which is old and has taken a beating the past few seasons.

  51. Sioux-per-man on

I’m totally distracted today. Can’t get a thing done today. Outside getting Direct to fix my HD issues.
That’s the only thing I’ve accomplished today!!!

  52. Gravy, Swedish Meatballs with Noodles and on

Started with back-in-the-day home white, and when Turris got hit with a shot and went down, I thought I had made the right choice. But then my 4 year old seemed overly concerned with his being blue and mine being white with #9 on it. I switched to my now-home blue nameless jersey, as that particular conversation could go on for the entire game.

He went to bed after the first with them down 1-0, and I switched to the white. The rest is history.

  53. I switched between my white Messier jersey and blue Graves jersey, also with and without the Atlantic Division championship t-shirt underneath…but Game 6 I had nothing Rangers on at all.

So…not wearing anything Blueshirt tonight, either.

Still haven’t shaved since the playoffs began. Not sure how much longer I can pull it off at work. And Pre-Cana this weekend should be fun.

  54. win tonight pure relief lose tonight all 89 games this year mean squat and dubi better be gone

  55. Sioux-per-man on

Can one be to positive on a day like today?

I just feel it deep down in my nuggets that the RANGERS are going roll over the Senators tonight!!!

Everything you read, is positive. Focused. Ready to Rumble.

    And only 4 hours away!!!!

Anyone on here going to the game tonight?

  56. Not much, but update on Boyle nevertheless:
According to ProHockeyTalk, Boyle speak briefly with Newsday’s Arthur Staples after leaving the trainers’ room.
“I feel OK,” said Boyle, who suffered a concussion on the Neil hit. Boyle’s OK-ness aside, the fact he’s not even skating suggests he’ll miss Game 7 at Madison Square Garden. Encouraging?

  57. Sioux-per-man on

Eric – or Dubi could get the GWG in overtime = make up for the whole season in 1 goal :)

  58. Sioux-per-man on

I think it is a good sign he’s working out. He could be back for the next series against Washington.

As long as the headaches go away.

  59. Jimbo (Win It For TONY!) on

Please – no overtime? Let’s win it in regulation – I’m getting too old for this Zhitnik!

  60. I may go for it…should still fit! Plus its been next to Gretzky’s jersey for years so maybe we’ll get a little unexpected offense from someone in blue tonight!! AA, Dubi, Rupp maybe…

  61. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

    go for the blue!!

yes, I ran into the “work attire” issue myself…I went with rangers gear anyhow on gamedays!

If I need a job in a few days, I hope someone knows of some openings. (except manny, his firms interview process sucks)

  62. That carcillo about people tweeting racist comments after Ward scored is disgraceful. Ah, Boston.

  63. Sorry about that Wicky. We require all sorts of drug testing! Anyways, I am trying to get out of here myself so maybe you can have my position?

I never have to dress up for work but the interview process may put a damper on my playoff beard. Assuming I *don’t* have to cut it off tomorrow!

  64. Gravy, Swedish Meatballs with Noodles and on

Wicky, I do keep a Rangers puck on my desk, so I represent the best I can.

  65. Wicky© Where have all the NOOGIES gone?? LGT!!! on

If you are not there, what is the point of me working there? I do liquid lunches by myself now!!

  66. Matty'"Neilbetterskatewithhisheadup"boy on

Manny, Matteau, sorry, I got pulled away.

If I am to be honest, I thought we finish 6-8 this year. The fact that, by December we were #1, I think lulled us into a false sense of expectations. This is a very good team coached extremely well. What Hunter has done in Washington the last month or so is what Torts has done with our guys all season.

THis season has been too good, too positive to end tonight. I think, given the amount of young players we have, you have to be excited for the near future. This is just the beginning as I see it. The picture of CK scoring his goal, hugging Step, MDZ and Staal was one that will stand in my memory a long time. How amazing to have such talent so young!!!! I don’t think that even the Gardner could mess this up. I just hope other people help him to make decisions because he has proven to me he is a complete clown.

I consider this season a success and a win tonight will bring it to an even higher level! I believe we will win tonight.

  67. Does any long time Ranger fan on this board believe this will be anything other than a tie or one goal game through late in the 3rd period?

  68. Im in Las Vegas but my brother shipped me a box that just arrived with the T Shirt that was given out at the playoff games and the Lets go Ranger towel and the Believe towel I’m good to go here now in the desert.

    Make the Garden ROCK tonight

  69. I believe this game will be a copy of game 1, quick start and lead for the boys in blue

  70. I know it’s popular to rank it up against Boston, and that’s not my purpose; Their fans can become just as obnoxious as the Flyers, but it is a great city with a great past and historically a center of much interest’

My youngest daughter attended a cooking college where they turn out some very well paid Chefs, and she being a petite and very pretty girl with billowing blond hair, tbw and I got a bit unnerved when we saw her walking own the street toward us, with that blond beacon, and the multitude of slack jaws staring at her as she walked along, totally unaware of the situation that she was causing. I got cold chills just realizing that she’d been here for the past couple of years..ALONE AND FREE OF OUR PROTECTION.

we had a couple of friends with us, another husband and wife neighbor situation, and I was driving my
1975 Bronco. She hadn’t noticed us ( we were supposed to pick her up there), and I was flying up Commonwealth ave, and I put the old Bronc into a =screaming u turn and floored it to catch up to her. My neighbor let out a screech, and he yelled, ForChrist sake, you just made a U turn on
Commonwealth Ave!” I gave him the Connecticut version of Fuggedaboudid, and yelled shut up I used to drive Cabs in Chicago this ain’t nuthin.!”
She spotted the Bronco, and came running to meet us and I couldn’t wait til she was seated and safe.

I asked her if she always walked around looking like a traveling forest fire, and was she ever hit on by guys.

She snickered and said something to the effect of, “Oh Dad, stop worrying, I know how to handle them”
(That was supposed to ah, reassure me. TBW looked a bit awed too, but she was more controlled emotionally than me, for this was my baby.. ( Believe me when I tell you newly married, that your time will come!)

I didn’t fully relax until we were on our way back home to Deep River Ct.

I can now proudly announce that she has reached the age of 40, has two beautiful daughters of her own, and she is NOW going through the angst of having them away from home and in College, one in Pace and one going to probably Iona. She made a fine marriage to a great guy who looks after his brood as I did and he is 6’4, and Swedish and both of their daughters tower over my little girl. I always enjoy going back up to their home in Cromwell, and she never became a cook….but a terrific hairdresser. Gonna visit them in June when the youngest graduates from Hi School and her next stop is probably Iona…shes a math whiz.

what’s this got to do with Hockey?….nuthin.

  71. hey does anyone know a place i can watch the game in the westchester area? i am from NJ but may not be able to make it back in time, if i leave work (Greenwich CT) at 630 i may be looking to hit a bar and i know nothing about this area…i may even be near the practice facility, do they have TV’s in there? haha
