Will buy a playoff ticket! Has to be within 100-120$ bucks! Anyone?
Miami Pimp
My mom just said that I shouldn’t be posting on this message board because I have tons of work to do.
LaTONYa
I would think they were granted permission to make tweets considering they were both very similar, but as we know from 24/7, Gabby is pretty bad-aasen.. carrying that Christmas tree down the street, downing beers at team meals..
Blogmama Go Tony!!!!
C3, if you find any….and get two, I’m with ya….good luck!

She also said that The Kreider will “tear it up” tomorrow night.
Her prediction: Hat Trick.

Go Pimp’s mom!
Blogmama Go Tony!!!!
Miami….that is bush-league…
LaTONya….that scene was the best ever!!!
Blogmama Go Tony!!!!
Gotta go…been not well for two days…..boudreau, ya know…..LGR!!! LGT! Go Craps!!!
I truly feel sorry for the billions of people who do not understand this sport. It is so amazing watching competition like this and these guys giving it their last ounce. Leaving it on the ice. This will be an amazing finish tonight. Washington is holding in there pretty well with this ‘kid’.
Yeah freaking tickets are 200 dollars and up! I love this team but I am not spending 250 bucks for 400 level seats! I was thinking to skip the school and go to the game but I guess I will watch the game on dvr
I once aided a British man and his wife who had never even heard of the Rangers purchase tickets outside the Garden. Game 81 in 2010 against the Flyers.
The garden has not been anywhere near as loud as it was when there were blue seats all the way around. THe lower seats have many more ‘disinterested corporate types’ amongst the true fans. hopefully tomorrow will be the way it should be.
I hate buying tickets outside the Garden because if they sell me bad tickets I will be pissed and will want blood! I try to stay away from those situations as much a possible :)
LaTONYa
They were cheaper than my tickets, Matty. Let’s just leave it at that.
I used to sell my tickets on Ebay as recent as last year. Now, with TicketXchange, Stubhub, and the already outlandish face value charged for the actual tickets, its’ crazy how much they can cost.
Bergeron is gonna play that muffed shot back in his mind alll summer….
Blogmama Go Tony!!!!
oy…a wicky…..post boudreau :)
Matty, brilliant! “I truly feel sorry for the billions of people who do not understand this sport. It is so amazing watching competition like this and these guys giving it their last ounce…”
agreed, and now…to bed….along with the Bruins!!!!!! hahahahahahahA
I felt like killing myself earlier this week, but I never gave up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First the Pens, now the Bruins. NYR’s toughest competition in the East is eliminated, so you’d think it would be smooth sailing, but it’s not even close!
Tiki
Come on RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can get the CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JimboWoodside
I’ve gotta admit that I don’t like the idea that the Caps have made it to the second round – so, it will be up to us to finally slay that playoff dragon…
Lev
Rangers-Caps…gulp. WIN TOMORROW!
True Blue Mike (Del Zotto's Swagger)
Ovechkin should be an Olympic jumper
JimboWoodside
Boston organist playing, “Summertime, and the living is easy”......
I don’t want to see how Rangers fans would respond, but in a good hockey town, the fans do give a serious standing ovation if their beloved team goes down. Spoiled fans, I guess, in Boston.
i guess Timmy Thomas’ dream came true… he won’t be meeting Obama this year either.
True Blue Mike (Del Zotto's Swagger)
Holtby seems like a great first shot goalie, needs to get shots on him with bodies in front for rebounds. If the Rangers win tomorrow they need to adjust to that because the kid is playing with some serious confidence
So, who do we want to win tomorrow? Cats or Devils? I’d love to see the Devils get eliminated, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the Devils & Flyers kill each other!
eric
heres one for you the FLYERS arent sitting pretty for round 2 no rangers or bruins
they either play florida devils or ottawa. they beat any of those teams in 5.
tonite result got the flyers to the conf finals
JimboWoodside
We already know how our fans would act, Matty – because they’ve showed their class in past years.
Tiki
Its our Cup to lose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see the signs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the writing’s on the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we answer the belll tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
And Doc Emrick couldnt have soundedd more devastated!!!!! And it feels so Good!!!!! I revel in your devastation Doc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
LaTONYa
I remember that after Game 6 in ‘07 the Rangers got a standing ovation. It was good to see.
These guys worked so hard just for the first round. Contrast that to basketball where the first series you can mail in the results. Yawner games. So many of these first round games and series have been awesome.
Yea, La. Don’t want to see it. But, I believe we are different. The ones I have sat through…there’s a few minutes of ‘shock’. like, it’s over…then an ovation for the team. THe reality is, unless you win the cup, you will lose your series at some point. Good fans respond!
first round is the toughest to survive. Presidents’ Trophy winner and the defending champ and the odds-on favorite all out, the No. 1 seed in the East playing a Game 7.
JimboWoodside
What did I do, Tiki!?
Blogmama Go Tony!!!!
I love my family, cousins, from Beantown….but took great pleasure in sending them a hahahahahaha e-mail tonight,.....and they through we were going down early….hahahahahhaahahhhaha!!!!
It’s a long shot for the Kings. Blues will be really tough, but if the Craps can easily make it to the finals, especially if NYR doesn’t win tomorrow. I think that’s their biggest threat. They already proved they can beat one of the best teams in the East.
We have seen some no name Cap goalies do fairly well. I never would have though that Holtby beats Thomas. Great coaching by a major ex-Washington irritating player.
This Boston team was really good. But may not have been as deep or as hungry as last year. Still Washington is a scary team with potentially explosive offense, not to say that will let it out that much. The defensive style is what worked in this series and they will stick to it, one would think.
Carpy, this is a higher rated home team going down in 7th game. Think this lets our guys know to be prepared and be ready?
Grabby
guys, with all the really tough teams out already, wouldnt it have been great to have nash to help us go all the way to the finals aND possibly win? ugh man gabby better show up tomorow. we couldve used nash bigtime right now.
If the Rangers were to win, and realizing what Boston did last year with all the 7 game series, I worry about depth. Hate to sound like Eric., but I do.
JimboWoodside
I think it’s good for them, too Carp – they can take NOTHING for granted – maybe they took the Sens a little too lightly to start this series, especially how they handled them in that first game.
Grabby, it’s not like we’d be getting him for free. We’d have to give up too much.
Cjp
I’m not gonna think about any match ups until after the game tomorrow. No point in spending time thinking about next round until the Rangers actually get there.
I was at the game in 2006 when the Devils swept us. Went to both
Games actually. The fans started chanting Let’s Go Rangers near the end and gave them a standing ovation. Very classy.
Manny
Interesting point, Carp. I never thought about that. I just hate the flipping Capitals. I txted both my Caps fan friends “Congrats!” but I was puking Boudreu’ing inside.
Manny
Guys – Grabby isn’t saying Nash is clutch. Nash would give us CRAZY depth. Just adding him to the lineup gives us 2 or even 3 legit scoring lines with a powerful, big, checking 4th line.
Grabby
washington scares me cuz of how bad they lit up hank in both seres. mean were still having trouble scoring and holtby is of course patrick roy out there. we better whip sens and caps butts. i dont think hank will allow us to lose again to them. hes pissed, fired up and hungry as ever. but cant look past tommorow. hope boyle dime a dozen gets better soon
JimboWoodside
CJP, unfortunately, our poor beleaguered Ranger fans have had an awful lot of practice in being classy fans in losing causes – they’ve never lost that class.
Thanks, Orr. Funny how the west has been over for days already.
True Blue Mike (Del Zotto's Swagger)
Grabby, no more mitchell? How so? We would have lost Dubinsky or Anisimov, if not both for Nash.
Grabby
relevant rupp and joni mitchell are both gone next year right? dont tell me slagtipuss gave ruppy chow more than a 1 yr deal?
JimboWoodside
The whole NBC hockey operation is a joke!
True Blue Mike (Del Zotto's Swagger)
Okay thanks. Is the Sauer thing really that serious or did they just shut him down to be safe after what happened with Staal. Never really heard anything else about it. Is he eve around the rink?
Yea, NBC is not great…but I am thankful they have had so many games on tv. This has been an amazing few weeks.
JimboWoodside
Maybe it’s just me, but the Bruins looked like they played kind of a lethargic game, considering that it was a game 7, and at home – anybody else see it that way? Kinda uninspired to me.
ok, well fine, keep mitchell if it means having nash instead of droopy and farty. both of which are scoreless in 6 games so far, so i’d keep mitchell along with his no goal clause he signed in january
Washington beat them to the puck a lot, Jimbo. I was wondering if playing to many playoff games last year, with all the hoopla around winning over the summer tired them a bit. Of course, some injuries didn’t help their cause. Heck, they had….Motteau on ‘d’? That’s weak.
JimboWoodside
Yeah, Matty – the fact that they won last year might have taken some of the fire out of their bellies, but then again, they were the defending champions – that has to count for something, pride-wise, doesn’t it!?
Tiki
God, it feels so good. Just got home, and I spent the whole time with the window down, the radio on and yelling like I was being murdered!!!!! I always said money dont buy happiness. The only things that gets happiness are health of friends/family and winning (and seeing the city you despise lose!!!). TONY!!!!!! We do this for you tomorrow, pal!!! Id give my life for urs in a heartbeat!!!!! I love you!!!!!!!
Grabby
im not eve trying to talk about what guys wewould have traded and all other what ifs and clutchness and pizza making skils, whatever. im just saying, with all the top teams out of contention this early, having nash would really give us a nice boost to our offense and wondering what if we had got him. thats all. not gonna debate which 4th liner we woulnt have anymore
iManny
I thought Dale Hunter was still suspended!?
JimboWoodside
Also, perhaps they took the Caps too lightly early on – and they didn’t have to play their eternal playoff rival, the Canadiens – they always get up when playing Montreal because they hate them so totally.
I don’t know if there’s a great Bruins-Caps rivalry that has ever developed – kind of like our having no big rivalry with the Senators.
Or, maybe since they won it, they had already climbed that mountain and didn’t have the heart to do it again. Dunno.
WIth Thornton out, he was a big part of their run last year. Gutty player. They made what I thought were some good trading deadline moves to add depth.
Could be. Low scoring series. Caps can grind. They have talent. Hunter, suspended or not, has them playing the right way.
JimboWoodside
Tiki, maybe someday you’ll share with us why you have such a deep and total hatred for all things Boston – but geez, have a little mercy on your neighbors, fella! You’re lucky that they didn’t send the riot squad out to take you away to a rubber room!! (Just kidding!!)
Alright, got some stuff to do. Be loud and vocal in here tomorrow night….I’m gonna make sure it is at MSg!!
Carp, thanks for this site!! Becomes addictive!
LGR!!
JimboWoodside
And Tim Thomas was NOT spectacular in this series, unlike last year, when he played lights-out great.
Manny
It’s true, Matty. Hunter, who I thought did not have a job after this year (back to the OHL) has done a good job adjusting and changing on the fly.
JimboWoodside
Later, Matty – we’ll be here – root them on to victory tomorrow – we’ve got some scores to settle with the Caps!
Manny
Amen, Jimbo. Thomas was pretty bad. He as 7th in all categories statistically. While that isn’t determinative…his age and positioning kills him. I have been a critic of Thomas despite his accolades and trophies but…his positioning is INSANE for a guy getting older. It’s so bad. And I mean BAD. He’s 30 feet out on most shots and he can’t adjust like he used to.
That said, I thought he was pretty good tonight.
Marz
Anyone else see lots of similarities between Ottawa and Washington right now? Came close to missing the playoffs, but now feature speed, grit and reasonably good offensive ability from the forwards, maybe a little suspect on defense (but good size and still playing well enough overall) and inexperienced (but certainly capable) playoff goaltending. I’m trying to convince myself that the Rangers’ experience in the series vs. Ottawa will help prepare them for Washington. Of course, they have to actually GET there first.
Manny
Oh…and the stat I mentioned holds true still.
No team has advanced while trailing in blocked shots during their series.
In other words, block more shots = move on.
Eddie eddie Eddie
Must win game tomorrow. I am getting nervous. This game flashes in my mind about every 10 seconds. I have faith. I hope it’s 9-0 in the first 5 minutes so I can relax.
Mister D
I should go to bed but this Bruins postmortem is just too satisfying to turn off.
The Kreider
Pizza Pizza!
Eddie eddie Eddie
Let’s go rangers
Let’s go rangers
JimboWoodside
Yes Manny – but Thomas almost gave a goal away back there in the second period, I think it was – he just wasn’t “on” in this series – maybe because he had to work too much as the regular season wound down, with his backup being injured and then Turco being an absolute sieve.
He’s old, and maybe he got fatigued.
JimboWoodside
Marz, the similarity ends tomorrow, when the Rangers win game 7! ;-D
Per Djoos
The road to the Cup goes through:
Ottawa, washington (settle some old scores), Philly (they want revenge for winter classic), and then they must exorcise JD and his St. Louis Blues…
Eddie eddie Eddie
Bring on the craps
Lev
Although this might motivate the Rangers it could also very easily motivate the Sens. It basically tells them see it CAN be done. Game 7, on the road, underdogs. But I trust we’ll win. Just not OT please!
Eddie eddie Eddie
MAF is not among the Vezina finalists….... How is this possible?
Lev
he’s not a finalist, he already has it won. the finalists are just honorable mentions.

Sunday sounds logical Jimbo.
do you think seeing a No. 7 knock out a No. 2 is good for the Rangers’ psyche, or bad?
I think it will be good for them.
I just read that Dirty Sanchez was booed at the Knickerbockers game. Hahaha!
This Boston team was really good. But may not have been as deep or as hungry as last year. Still Washington is a scary team with potentially explosive offense, not to say that will let it out that much. The defensive style is what worked in this series and they will stick to it, one would think.
I agree with you, Carp!
Third time’s the charm!
Yeah, Matty – it’s a little close after the last series game day (tomorrow), but TV and revenue speaks loudly when it comes to these matters..
Carpy, this is a higher rated home team going down in 7th game. Think this lets our guys know to be prepared and be ready?

does NBC seem completely clueless when it promos the next round as the “Stanley Cup semifinals?”
Matty, semis start this Friday, Yotes/Preds game 1. Saturday is Kings/Blues. Nothing on the East yet.
Carp, any word on Boyle? Is this a serious concussion or more like a Daniel Alferdsson 3 game concussion?
Graby – solution to the Craps. If the Rangers win tomorrow. Which is a huge IF as we all know, GO CATS!
Ugh…I meant DEVILS!
exactly manny. im just saying imagine our lineup if we got him. no more mitchell for one thing. and that is a huge advantage right there!
Milbury might want to learn how to pronounce Stepan.
Friday!? Wow, that really is rushing things!
Carp – I was thinking that it was good for the Rangers to see a home team lose a game 7, too. Ironically, Milbury just said the same thing.
True Blue, it’s impossible to tell this soon. They thought Sauer would only be a minor thing at one point.

Maybe it’s just me, but the Bruins looked like they played kind of a lethargic game, considering that it was a game 7, and at home – anybody else see it that way? Kinda uninspired to me.
Manny, you’re off the second line??????
ok, well fine, keep mitchell if it means having nash instead of droopy and farty. both of which are scoreless in 6 games so far, so i’d keep mitchell along with his no goal clause he signed in january
Washington beat them to the puck a lot, Jimbo. I was wondering if playing to many playoff games last year, with all the hoopla around winning over the summer tired them a bit. Of course, some injuries didn’t help their cause. Heck, they had….Motteau on ‘d’? That’s weak.
Yeah, Matty – the fact that they won last year might have taken some of the fire out of their bellies, but then again, they were the defending champions – that has to count for something, pride-wise, doesn’t it!?
God, it feels so good. Just got home, and I spent the whole time with the window down, the radio on and yelling like I was being murdered!!!!! I always said money dont buy happiness. The only things that gets happiness are health of friends/family and winning (and seeing the city you despise lose!!!). TONY!!!!!! We do this for you tomorrow, pal!!! Id give my life for urs in a heartbeat!!!!! I love you!!!!!!!
im not eve trying to talk about what guys wewould have traded and all other what ifs and clutchness and pizza making skils, whatever. im just saying, with all the top teams out of contention this early, having nash would really give us a nice boost to our offense and wondering what if we had got him. thats all. not gonna debate which 4th liner we woulnt have anymore
I thought Dale Hunter was still suspended!?
LGR!!
And Tim Thomas was NOT spectacular in this series, unlike last year, when he played lights-out great.
It’s true, Matty. Hunter, who I thought did not have a job after this year (back to the OHL) has done a good job adjusting and changing on the fly.
Later, Matty – we’ll be here – root them on to victory tomorrow – we’ve got some scores to settle with the Caps!
Oh…and the stat I mentioned holds true still.
No team has advanced while trailing in blocked shots during their series.
In other words, block more shots = move on.
Must win game tomorrow. I am getting nervous. This game flashes in my mind about every 10 seconds. I have faith. I hope it’s 9-0 in the first 5 minutes so I can relax.
I should go to bed but this Bruins postmortem is just too satisfying to turn off.
Pizza Pizza!
Let’s go rangers
Let’s go rangers
Yes Manny – but Thomas almost gave a goal away back there in the second period, I think it was – he just wasn’t “on” in this series – maybe because he had to work too much as the regular season wound down, with his backup being injured and then Turco being an absolute sieve.
He’s old, and maybe he got fatigued.
Marz, the similarity ends tomorrow, when the Rangers win game 7! ;-D
The road to the Cup goes through:
Ottawa, washington (settle some old scores), Philly (they want revenge for winter classic), and then they must exorcise JD and his St. Louis Blues…
Bring on the craps
Although this might motivate the Rangers it could also very easily motivate the Sens. It basically tells them see it CAN be done. Game 7, on the road, underdogs. But I trust we’ll win. Just not OT please!
MAF is not among the Vezina finalists….... How is this possible?
he’s not a finalist, he already has it won. the finalists are just honorable mentions.
Eddie my brutha
so rumor has it if the Rangers win they will play Saturday afternoon. Is this legit because I work weekends and can work my schedule around to fit in the potential game…
Anyone know what channel the Devils/Rats game is on tomorrow? Is it on?
Latonya, been swamp dizzled! miss you as well! Thank you for taking the time to be gentle and kind towards me…that is the mark of a truly amazing person!
is tomorrow really a must win game? so cliche..come ‘awn’!
ducky! Love you buddy! Hope your Dad is doing well!
Devils play at 8:30 on MSG+
SS = Scott Stevens,
your game will be on MSG+ and some of NBCSport channel at 8:00 PM.
Now, go break something (or somebody’s neck).
.correction -..at 8:30
DarrenDreger As per @tsnjamesduthie Sources say R. Luongo will submit short list of teams he’d waive no-trade to go to next week. Leafs will be on it.
If Burke was smart, he’d pass.
if we had Nash, we wouldnt have Stepan, Kreider, and either dubi or Mcdonagh. we’ll be fine.
I don’t think burke likes the length and dollars of luongo’s contract, but I bet the pressure for him to get him would be huMAINgous!!!
LGR and LGT!!
Get nash in the offseason regardless!
