Matt Carkner expects to play after serving his one-game suspension for jumping Brian Boyle in Game 2. I imagine he replaces Matt Gilroy, who struggled in Game 3. I also imagine the Rangers don’t mind having Carkner in the game.

this was one of those games where if you weren’t a person who followed these teams all year, you’d have no idea who was the 1 and who was the 8.
horrific loss and a pretty abysmal effort apart from the 2 quick power play goals and the brief stretch in the third where they were ok. I thought they were badly outplayed for most of the game, included down the stretch in the 3rd when they were basically hanging on for dear life.

Like it or not, but the Rangers have been outplayed more often than not by the Sens the last 3 games.
That said, I fully expect them to win game 5 because that’s what they’ve done all season.
I also expect them to then lose game 6.
That PP is embarassingly inept and yeah, they scored 2 tonight but more due to Ottawa’s inexplicable poor PK play than anything else. Once the Sens realized how silly they looked, the rest of the Rangers PP opportunities were wasted and like game 2, the single biggest reason the series is tied.

Torts talks a good game about not sitting on the lead but for the third time in three games they sat on a lead and that is just unacceptable. He is responsible for making the right adjustments so that this doesn’t happen and once again it did.

That being said, Lundqvist gave up a few not-great goals in this game and is also dealing with far more significant offensive attackers than is Anderson.
