Sorry, there were some logistical situations in this arena, so I didn’t have a chance to talk to a lot of players.
I did get this remark from Henrik Lundqvist on the save Stu Bickel made. Lundqvist said he lost the puck for a moment and added, “That was a great save by him. As a goalie, you really appreciate a save like that.”
Mario, I mean, Brian Boyle was brought to an interview room because everybody wanted to talk to him with the way he’s been involved in every big event in this whole series—how about the short-handed breakaway, and the pass he made to Ryan Callahan for the breakaway, and the late faceoffs against Zenon Konopka?
Anyway, the interview room is two stories above the lockerroom, so they brought Boyle up, in his uniform, through the crowd, where, as you might have guessed, he took a lot of flak from the Ottawa fans. Boyle smiled as he walked through the door to the interview room, and you could still hear the bile.
“They think I suck,” Boyle said.

Manny, did you do your stars? :)
everybody’s off the ledge, I trust?
LGBT!!! I love Boyle!!! Always have!!!!! hahahahahaha you late joining peeps!
(Sorry….a mood again :)
I will say this now: What was the weakest part of Kreider’s game? That’s right, physicality and defense. Hes a bit of a statue out there.
I am in no way blaming him. Kid looks like more than the real deal and boy did he pick up on some basics quickly.
But – He cannot play on a fourth line. It’s harder than you guys think and for Kreider it’s the hardest transition he could make.
Manny’s totally gonna steal my three stars. What a troublemaker.
Stars: Hagelin, Scott, Sully/Rammer.
Great radio spot Carp.

LaTONYa…...belated 100 lunch points and continued status as the lunch arbitrator for your name…..
btw, my lunch was a simple dog with mustard, but the best dog and the best mustard from the best deli where I grew up…...amazing nothing has changed in 26 years!!!
How about Hometown Hayward and that other mouth puppet in the broadcast booth tonight? I think he said something about the “altercation” with Carkner that Boyle was “involved in,” something on the order of maybe, 14 times? Forgive me if my memory is a bit blurry—it was a long time ago now—but I don’t recall him being involved in any “altercation” with Carkner. Unless perhaps getting attacked and beaten while lying on the ice counts as an “altercation” in the NHL.
