Morning ILB and all!!
I would love to know the secret of all the symbols form the last thread!!
CARP
Hilarious my friend…HILARIOUS!!!
I don’t think the rangers let bickel go, just a hunch but he seems to be on good terms with the coach and I would expect the rangers to re sign him despite all of their D depth!
speaking of bickel…not sure if everyone saw this on woywitka—-> earlier, but great article and also good on clutterbuck at the end of the article

sally

Carp April 1st, 2012 at 1:08 pm
True Fans, with Biron in goal and Woywitka on defense.
This is true – although it would be nice if Rangers repeated the performance of the Lightning (vs. Philthy?) few years back playing their A-lineup for game 82 [and then i believe going to finals, minus the losing in finals part].
You posted the joke on FB!!!
Ummmm… Mama, I still have no idea what you’re talking about…
Sigh. The home-ice post is on your FB wall. Whatever. I think today the whole joke is on me and my addled brain.
Ouch! Talbot scoring. That must burn.
Flyers tie it.
Oh, yeah I thought it was funny so I shared it. Oh mama… :)
See! So don’t confuse me more than I already am today!!!
Nice one Carp.
Here the rumor starts:
http://www.kuklaskorner.com/index.php/glr/comments/rangers_to_start_playoffs_away_from_home/
Time for a nap or I’ll end up rooting for the enemy tonight. Later all!!
LMFAO!!!! Excellent find cup!!!! That was worth a wicky!!!
LOL! Crosby slashes the stick right out of Giroux’s hands with the ref looking right at them, and he doesn’t call the penalty.
LMAO Cup!!!
Did Milbury just say something about the “entrée into the zone”?
Sounds like a play Brodeur would draw up.
LMAO @ Kuklaskorner!!!!!!!!
LW he did.
what a moron.
Flyers 3-2!!!
Paul Holmgren is looking like a genius after that Mike Richards trade.
Richards – 17 Goals, 41 Points
Simmonds – 27 Goals, 48 Points
Voracek – 15 Goals, 43 Points
Then you have Schenn with 11 Goals, 16 Points at age 20. A lot of potential.
Kings lose.
4-2 Flyers!!! Wow!
Make that 16 goals for Voracek….
Rooting for the flyers is making me a little nauseous. I have to keep telling myself to focus on the big picture:)
Wow!!! Mr. Snider must have told his boys that if they lost on national TV today that he would trade them all to Columbus or the Icelanders!!
Pens don’t look so invincible lately…
Last game of the season for the Pens & Flyers are against each other. That could be for home ice.
Rangers got their slump out of the way, and now the Pens are in theirs. Bad timing. Not only did it cost them 1st place, but it could cost them home ice. Love it!
Jimbo, the thing I have most enjoyed about the last few games has been seeing some of the teams/players look less daunting. Cindy losing to islanders twice, miller letting in some goals…
I’m glad we are looking more like the rangers of midseason!
Also, I don’t have words to explain how much I dislike Cindy.
Very true, ORR – very true!
Our magic number is almost one!!!!
Yes, Winston! I also think it is interesting that Philly is not playing Bryzgalov – he got that busted bone in his foot, and hasn’t played since, even though they initially said that he’d only be out a day or two. He may not be ready for the post season, for all we know.
Another Flys goal!! MAF is not looking to good eaither!
Flyers up 5-2 on Penguins. It looks like Rangers can wrap up the Conference title with Two More Points tonight.
either
Carp I remember your April Fool’s thread a year ago about Tampa Bay not being able to to play the makeup game due to a power outage and Philly needing that game to get into the playoffs if it’s not played and I posted it in a hockey thread and Flyers fans went NUTS. lol it was a good one.
Warm up the bus cindy
Definitely one point! Awesome!
I’d rather be in our position right now – much more than any other team in the division!
Pens score. 5-3!
I think Pierre likes Girioux.
So, now, does that penalty still count? Because they should revert back to the time the goal was scored, and so either A) the penalty hadn’t been committed or B) it was a goal on a delayed penalty.
I think the Pens still get a PP too. Oh boy…
Pierre has a scary hard on for Schenn.
Schenn just CC’ed Cindy from behind! Give him a bonus!
Cindy is very good with his mouth!!! Maybe that’s why he’s such a favoritewith his teammates in the dressing room!
Hahaha!! They called off the penalty! Cindy is pi—ed!
I love watching Malkin get bullied.
Is this lead safe with BOB in goal? I don’t know….
The C on Cindy’s jersey and the A on Malkin’s jersey definitely stand for things other than captain and Altermate.
Doctor Emrick just had an orgasm
Winston – ;-D
Man, I hope these 2 teams meet in the first round!
I feel dirty rooting for the Philthy’s
6-3!
Magic Number 1!!
CARP
please tell me you read this:
http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Jan-Levine/Game-78-NYR-4-MTL-1-Magic-Number-Is-3-Possible-Clincher-Tonight/89/43512
Jimbo, if NYR picks up a point tonight, then they do.
LGR!
An empty-netter makes it 6-3. It’s over for the Cindies!
OH BABY!!!
I love it!
Major nastiness!
The coaches want to go at it as well.
This is going to be a fun series!!
Simmonds didn’t do too well in his fight.
I think I’d give that match to Bylsma, myself…
Hahaha Pierre looked like he was going to pee his pants caught in the middle there!
Simmonds had his face caved in by a puck last night – no way he should be scrapping at all today.
NBC is peeing it their pants!!! Violence!
Terrible job by the officials. Why is Asham even on the ice after he fought??
Poor Cindy!! He isn’t happy!
Miami, LMAO!!!!! Who is this CLOWN?
What a circus!
Hartnell is such a jerk!
LOL @ Hartnell! Funny.
A few weeks ago it started to look like the rangers were going to relinquish first place. What has transpired in the past week couldn’t be better for the rangers. The Pens lose to the Islanders twice and today to the Flyers and now you have the flyers and pens playing each other in the first round. Those two teams are going to beat the crap out of each other and I can’t wait.
well they will be playing each other in the first round of the playoffs, so that series should be fun…
I’m surprised NBC hasn’t gone to golf yet.
great clean hit by Vitale and an even better acting job by Crosby
Never mind fun. I want lots of nastiness in that series.
How many players do we have who can grow a playoff beard?
That was a super clean hit. The fact that it was against that little punk Briere makes it even more enjoyable.
I can’t wait to see Hags’ playoff beard. Since he’s a blonde, you wont even be able to see it. Peach fuzz.
Pens score..
and Laviolette + Renaldo likely suspended for the game against us…
Are the officials conspiring about how they can give Cindy a 5 on 1 power play for the rest of the game?
I think Laviolette will be fined, not suspended. I don’t think Rinaldo will get anything. Asham might get a suspension.
Isles up 1-0 over Sens. Still a possible first round opponent.
So, the hated rivals in the Atlantic Division have helped the Rangers, except for the Devils. Yeah, I really hate that bankrupt bunch.
Wtb happened At the end… Anybody?
How cruel is this world.
A flyers coach complaining about a goon line on the ice at the end of a game.
The penguins defense is just horrible.
Vitale threw a nice clean hit at Briere, and everyone went at each other, Carp. Laviolette and Granato nearly sangwiching Pierre, screaming at each other
Hahaha!!! That was good!! I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv it!
>>>So, the hated rivals in the Atlantic Division have helped the Rangers, except for the Devils. Yeah, I really hate that bankrupt bunch.
Yes!!! All our other enemies have been very good to us, except for those swamp-rat bastages! Put them into receivership!
That was a great ending – timonen said to Pierre – “can’t wait for next Saturday” – that is going to be an ugly first round series. Let’s hope it goes 7 and the winner black and blue
Arron Asshat got at least one pinch in on Schenn (I think) while he was held back by the linesman.
Bit rich of Laviolette to get in such a state about an opponent icing a fourth line in the last minute (especially as the hit by Vitale was clean). Nothing a Flyers coach would ever dream of doing, of course…
>>>A flyers coach complaining about a goon line on the ice at the end of a game.
Carp, as boxcar said, after the 6th Flys goal, Bylsma put out a goon line, and one of the goons leveled Briere (which was a clean hit, but a really nice one!) and the Flys bench went nuts!!
That should be punch by Asshat, not pinch. Crosby and Briere were probably pinching each other.
A ranger win clinching first over all and John Scott vs Lucic and this could be a lovely day.
Mr. Snider just called Toronto to tell them not to even think about any disciplinary action against his team for all the crap at the end of the game – to quote the Godfather:
*“I own your Goddamn league now, you stupid backward Canucks – just shut up or I’ll pull your games off the air”*
a stupid clown.
Bruins 10 – 0 Rangers.
Schenn deserved those punches. You throw a cheap shot then you better expect a cheap shot. That’s the way it goes.
ORR, you’re probably right, but it was good seeing Cindy get “disrespected” that way.. and his overreaction was nice to see!
I loved it too. It’s the only good thing Schenn has done all season.
+1, ORR!
Pinching each other LW3H too funny.
Wow!! Wang of the Fishsticks says that both Capuano and Snow will be back next season – that’s very good news for all the other teams in the league – hilarity ensues!!!
Please get me a link to the nastiness at the end of the game someone, I’m at work
Tyia
Wicky, here’s one:

Fingers crossed for a Panthers win against the Wings right now- By a show of bonehands, who wants them for a 1st round matchup?
cant wait till the playoffs, that was fun!! any chance tonights game turns into that?
Boys this is gonna be a nice victory for the blue shirts! The first seed is ours! and i tell u why and how to bet the game in my free blog! We need some educated readers to come comment so come down! http://hockeyreflections.com/2012/04/boston-bruins-at-new-york-rangers-a-sports-gambling-mans-wet-dream/
Woops, I meant Panthers need to lose tonight and have the caps pass em’. Freaking detroit… Do your job. They then play winnipeg (not ideal) and then the Caps.
Jimbo
Awesome, thanks
Carp
Thanks sir!!!!
new post.
Just noticed that Hartnell (who I can’t stand), actually does a decent thing and doesn’t jump the boards to save Simmonds face, but gets a ref’s attention and directs ref to the beat-down Simmonds was getting!
Pen’s vs. Flyers in first round funny. I might have catch some of next Saturday’s game, rooting for these two to beat the crap outta one another seems more natural that rooting for a fishstick 2fer.
Wow Simmonds picked the wrong fighter, engelland is the most underrated fighter in the league
