Stretch again, IMO, Carp. BRich has consistently better numbers for longer period of time being on a worse team than Gomez, and not having Gomez speed, has much superior hockey IQ, pack handling and sniper’s ability. In my mind, he has to flourish in a team like Rangers with years to come, becoming just better. At least, I can’t see any signs warranted him being worse, his relatively short midseason slump notwithstanding. BTW, I was the one who wasn’t ecstatic at all before signing him. It is just rare treat to see on the team a real talent.
