The news on Mats Zuccarello’s fractured left wrist isn’t great. It doesn’t appear he will need surgery, but it is a long-term injury, and I’m guessing (not playing doctor) that it’s one of those 4-6 week deals as a best-case scenario.
John Mitchell did not play a shift after his goal and assist for the Sabres.
