Will do, mama…
Hartnelling iPad!!!! Can’t get chat!!!!!! Someone say hi to Carp for me and send my sadness :( argh!!!!
Oops. Thanks ilb…...hartnelling iPad!!!!
Tough to argue that one about Prust..I think Girardi gets it though…
Mama – you can join me in letting the chat be for people that don’t regularly post. We have a live chat all day, every day.
We need to work on that 10-12 times bigger number, dammit!
Can we please get Wolski out of the Player Waseka? It’s just getting sad.
Comment From Sil
Marc Andre Fleury is underrated
Not in his own mind! Look at the flare he shows when making simple saves.
Rose: Best pizza in New York
3. Di Faro
Did anyone hear Tom Brady on Dennis and Callahan this morning on Timmmy Tebow?! “He may not be a traditional quarterback, but he’s a good football player and he will impact whatever team he is on in a positive manner, on and off the field.” Wow, Tommy givin’ a lil love to Timmmmy!!!!
Agree, Manny, I’d place Grimaldi’s as number 1.
ilb! ilb! ilb! ilb! ilb! ilb! I must leave for train station in 20 mins. Its my first time going to city alone! If I run into trouble and I cant get ahold of Mama, I shall text u. Ok?
Absolutely, Tiki…Don’t get into trouble, though…Don’t talk to Bostonians either :_0
Thanks, man. I never do talk to Bostonians. I like to keep my nose out of trouble, because I win intellectual fights, but I cant win physical fights, and jail wouldnt suit me well. :)
Good chat again today. Thanks, Carp. These are getting very popular. Could’ve added a bit more gibberish, I guess :-)
ilb – I put Grimaldi’s at #1 but my wife prefers Lucali so I had to submit to her reasoning.
...be careful what you wish for…
CARP said he’s a fan of the Pimp …. boooyah
I love these chats. Just too early for me
Thanks for handling some of the questions for me, ilb.
what can I say, Pimp. I have a soft spot for second-rate, amateur-hour clowns. You make us laugh.
Carp also said Doctor Emrick is “great”, Miami!
Of course, b/c you’re like Very Important Mascot. Most here are big fans…
I’m also proud to announce that I’m adding “cut-rate” and “pedestrian-level” to my asernal.
As in: “This two-bit, cut-rate of a squad is a pedestrian-level obscenity that needs to be put down”
Carp you didn’t answer that guy Mannu’s question:
When does the next issue of Butt-Man magazine come out?
I have to tell you, with all this time Miami doing his thing, there still people who DO NOT UNDERSTAND it….There is someone by the name Newbear who posted a few times well after the posts were over, and seriously proposing that everyone on the blog should bash Miami….Comedy gold! They do not teach a sense of humor in elementary schools anymore, I guess….
Oh, those new ones should become very handy, come the playoffs, Miami….
Please provide some highlights of what this clown/bear wrote …
everyone here knows I can’t stand this Mickey-Mouse wrecking-ball of a team.
and God knows why I mistankenly ordered the two-bit NHL package and now feel compeled to watch every game these clowns play (and hopefully lose).
Hopefully lose? More like inevitably lose!
Carp, next time you need a 4th at centennial, I am always around. HELLO BALL
Here is one, Miami. From a couple of days ago. About 2+ am:
1 day, 10 hrs ago
In closing: MIAMI PIMP has the freedom of speech and he knows it. But he has no idea what humour is nor does he appreciate the ice hockey. You, Miami Pimp, are a little off just because everyone ignores you, have you noticed? You can only live because the benevolence of others, and don’t you ever forget it, you unfunny Seinfeldian, you!!! A bit undereducated, are you ???
Bwahahahahahaha. That’s hilarious!
Poor confused newbear
Here is another one. Right from the next thread, very late in tge morning when everyone else was gone. Enjoy it, heads, gotta go
1 day, 10 hrs ago
I’ll say it once, that guy masquerading as Miami Pimp deserves a better reaction from y’all. How monotonous and boring can you get? Give him his freedom of speech, but keep yours ar the same time, boneheads, OK? This blog should single out and challenge narcisists, so that they do not boringly usurp valuable space and time.
I know many of you feel that any response to this gentleman would only encourage him or give him some legitimacy – I feel that only after forcing him into a conversation (if possible) we can really find out his psychological problem. I suspect that problem is not easily handled by sports fans, but let us try.
Good job on the chat, Carp!
Sounds to me like Newbear might be LW in a disguise.
Manny!! How you be!?
Hey Jimbo. I am mouse free. How are you pal?
I’m anxious to see if Shanny’s gonna wimp out on this Keith suspension and give him five.
Not me. I only wear a disguise when purchasing magazines from subterranean filth emporia or while ogling women of loose morals cavorting in a facing apartment.
Hahaha! Glad that you’re mouse-free, Manny – although I had fun picturing you sitting on the sofa with your little friend watching Ranger games, he with a little hockey helmet on his head!
I’m doing fine, thank you!
Interested in your pizza ratings – I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never tried any of them yet…. :-o
lol NEWBEAR is classic!
I think maybe we don’t understand him … his sense of humor is awesome.
Newbear = Miami Pimp?
The only other names I’ve used have been “Chris Drury”, “Erica Christensen”, “Cookie Monster” and other variations
I do like the idea of you creating a dialogue with yourself though.
So, what’s your favorite meat, Miami!? ;-P
it is intriguing
Interesting, Miami – looks good – no locations in New York, though. I do love steak!
Jimbo – Try Casa on Bedford and Commerce in the West Village. It’s Brazilian and delicious for steak and what not.
That place looks authentic and good
Wow! Thanks, Manny – we had a Brazilian place here in Woodside for a short time, but it was some kind of “fusion” place that also incorporated Indonesian(?) foods into their menu – I never even gave the place a second look, even though I’ve seen churrascarria featured in TV spots, and it looked fascinating.
I promise it is both. The people that run it are all Brazilian and they listen to awful music.
gotta go, gentlemen … I’ll be back later for the certain-loss
Early prediction: Sabres 7 – 0. GWG: Miller
Casa is delicious Jimbo. I love the fish, the stew and of course the national dish of Brazil, Fejoiada!
Manny, Casa looks like it has different dishes than the place that Miami mentioned, though – I picture his place as the ones I’ve seen on TV, where the servers walk around the room with big hunks of meat on swords or big skewers, and they carve off pieces of whatever you want.
I wish I had more personalities like some of u!!!
Yeah!! The Folkyourselfs have arguments with each other sometimes, too – it may be fun to be bipolar sometimes! (Just a joke – I didn’t mean that literally – don’t boycott my sponsors, please..?)
Wait!! I have sponsors!? Who are they? ;-)
Sponsors, like, for a Visa or Greencard? J-1? H-1? K-2?
I got here ok ilb!
No, Manny – I don’t have any of those either!
Jimbo- there are plenty of locations in NY. I’ve tried it in Rio too, and I have to tell you NY’s places are very, very good. Try Churrascaria Riodizio in Tribeca, and Churrascaria Plataforma in Hell’s Kitchen. I prefer Riodizio, it’s smaller and very friendly. The food is good in both places. Friendly advice: DO NOT EAT ANY APPETIZERS if you want to enjoy all types of meet. You simply won’t have any space left :-)
Oh, good, Tiki…..I guess the train from Boston hasn’t arrived yet :-)
And yes, both places are what you described: waiters walk around with swords full of meat…In Rio, mrs and I asked if we could go inside and see how it’s all cooked in one of those places…They let us. I’ts a scene…
You an actual fan of any team? Or has a lifetime in sports broken your juvenile enthusiasm?
Thank you, ilb – sounds like quite a show! I’ll have to get to one of these places because they sound like they’re right up my alley – not so much for my gf though, unless they have some chicken or fish, which Manny said that they have. (She’s a non-red meat person..)
They do, Jimbo….And it is a show, indeed.
Thanks for the suggestions, ilb! You always hook me up with S. American foooooods.
Thank you, Captain! I shall check it out – I may need a trip to the cardiologist afterwards, but it will be worth it!
And thank you, Manny – you always have good things to say!
They have that place in Scottsdale AZ. Been there a few times, had to buy larger pants after each visit
I thought you didn’t wear pants, Tony!?
Hey Latona! What’s the haps, bro?
That’s why Jimbo.
Really, if you go there DO NOT EAT all day & maybe the day before.
The food never stops !
Yikes! The day before, too!? ;-D
Sounds like good advice – thanks Tony!
Gotta get some work done before game time – later, ‘Heads!
Happy that it’s Friday.. sad that I’m out of crackers.. good to be home.
How was the live chat?
They give you a little card, Jimbo….Two sides- green and red. You put it on the table red side up, they won’t be coming until you turn it over with green side up. My wife once forgot to turn it over to the red side, so the guys kept coming over to her. And she would politely say:”No thank you” And they kept giving her a dirty look, like WTB?. Until I noticed that she didn’t turn it over, I was too busy chewing, lol….
Hahahaha!!! Red cards and green cards – sounds like a good idea! How do they figure out what to charge you though, ilb? How do they work that out?
Live chat was good – first time I participated.
It’s pretty much pre fixe, Jimbo. All you can eat….
Jimbo – green side up means “somebody dial 911”
Aha! That explains it – very good, ilb – thank you for the great info!
Gotta love meat to eat there !
Caipirinha, in those places, is a must of course….
there is Churrascaria closer to you – in Corona, Queens, (I believe Northern Blvd. and 108 St.)
Very descent one and with no problem parking.
Well, I do love meat! Don’t eat near as much of it as I used to do, but I love it – I used to go to this steakhouse in Jersey where they had 26 ounce sirloins or Delmonico steaks – my gf could not understand how I could eat one of those at one sitting, but it was never a struggle for me!
Corona!! Used to be a very Italian neighborhood with good Italian grocery stores – not very far from me at all!
Thank you, 4 ever! I’ll check Google to find out it’s name – later!
Mrs. Machetto will be coming to her first game this season with me. What’s the name of the new ice cream vendor? This is a very important issue to Mrs. M.
Live chat was amazing. Just amazing. Really.
Cashew Fruit Caiparinha, please.
Jumbo, name is Green Mile.
Looks like Tiki is having a great time before the game. He just terxted me two pictures. One with AA and one with Stepan, lol….
ilb, will you be at the game tonight?
No, I’m not, Doodie…
>>>Jumbo, name is Green Mile.
Thanks, 4 ever – I’ll be even more “Jumbo” after I try the place out! ;-)
Are you guys as excited as I am to hear Wojtek Wolski’s opinion on Makoto Sushi at Bal Harbour? :-)
I just saw my new BFF, ilb. He was with Fozzy’s daughter. She might be in for an adventure tonight.
Mannu, I don’t even know how to begin answering that question.
I mean Tiki is my BFF. I was telling ilb. Sorry. I’m not much of a writer.
Lol, Carp….He sent the pics with AA and Stepan…
I think she has an idea what she is in for….Or not. I’d like to see Tiki and Sally at the game together…That could be a scene to die for…
LOL @ “im not much of a writer”
Wick, who said that quote in your new screen name? was it Rupp? when?
Re: Shinnecock, I know what you mean about the rough, especially when the USGA is
hovering. Yesterday it was negligible and the course was amazingly playable, given the
time of year. Greens were still showing signs of being punched, but wer still pretty fast.
I’m so sorry, Jimbo, was sending that to you thru my phone and without glasses. LOL for answer, – good sport. Bon appetite! …oh, and don’t go for a walk after, if visited at night – neighborhood changed a lot since…
Carp, ye it was Rupp that told Clarkson “better be careful, if you keep talking ill knock you out on national tv” and Pierre overheard it and immediately told the viewers. pretty cool.
Breadcrumbs! aha aha I like it!
So you stayed away from the course record, Hospodar?
I’ll bet Kelly Clarkson kept on signing, despite the warning, Lev.
No problem, 4 ever! I am pretty Jumbo already, but I knew it was a typo on your part!
Yes, the course record yesterday was safer than Brian Burke’s job.
Wicky might have a Jim Corsi quote in his name by tomorrow. The man is a fighting machine by all accounts.
Hospodar, I had a shot at the Centennial record if I’d gone home after 11 or 12 holes.
Hah. Hope CTB is here to witness again.
Carp, probably. Glad he turned out to be useless in that game though.
OK, ‘heads! looks like DVR for me. No updates! Maybe I’ll catch up with you by second period. LGR!!!!!
Duncan Keith suspended five games, Doan gets 3 games. >
DVR for me too – later heads !
yes, new post.
