First, John Tortorella said that Dan Girardi’s fine. In other words, he was benched after the giveaway in the third. Whether it was punishment, or for rest he needs since his game has slipped the last few, we’ll have to speculate.
No update on Brandon Dubinsky’s hand. But Ryan Carter said part of the reason he fought Dubinsky was the remarks Dubinsky made after the last meeting, after fighting David Clarkson, about how Clarkson “turns away from the tougher guys … (and) says ‘no’ a lot.”
And here’s a quote from Brian Boyle that I didn’t hear, but I lifted it from my friend Andrew Gross’s blog:
“They hated us tonight. They wanted to kill us and we need to match that. In stretches we did but we need to take a look in the mirror.”
Ya boys were pretty serious about this loss.

John Carter defending Clarkson. Maybe Dublowsky should take a page out of Clarkson’s book, and say “no” a lot more. Fuggin kid embarrasses himself when he fights. Just stop!
