I really don’t fear the Bruins – they are a flawed team at this point – many aspects of their game are just not working right. Not to say that they won’t get it “fixed” before the playoffs start, but right now they have problems.

thanks, jpg. Bit of a costly game. Sam said Rupper wears a knee brace. It didn’t look like it just needed some adjusting. He went down at an awkward angle. That means G is sore, and we lost MDZ and Rupper for a bit. We have some depth and can find a way. The more we thin out now, the more tired the guys will be later on. Games like this can become more significant than the score…..

Funny story about smoking…. When I moved here 18 months ago, I didn’t know that smoking in public places was still allowed. So I walked into a Denny’s one morning my first week in STL and the hostess goes ‘Smoking or Non’. I literally stared at her speechless for a few moments, then she asked again and my reaction was ‘What??’ Took me a good 5 minutes to figure out what she meant and to give her an answer. I was so used to NY and the northeast being smoke-free that to be somewhere it wasn’t was a total shock to my system.

ok, this is what concerned me was injuries. Rangers have been healthy for the most part all year while other teams, Pitsburgh, boston, flyers and devils have had injuries during the season. Yesterday I posted how the most important thing for me was for the rangers to make the playoffs healthy and get a 1st round favorable match up. March has barely started and already Callahan is out and now Delzotto. Hopefully this will be the extent of injuries but Girardi look injured tonight blocking a shot. It’s a real problem but hopefully nothing serious happens and the rangers go into the playoffs healthy. Winning the president cup and the eastern conference means nothing to me. Biron was excellent tonight so that should silent the biron complaints and prust was ridiculous, prust saying.
