Ya boys have lost two in a row (0-1-1) and three of their last four (two in regulation). They haven’t gone three without a win since the first three games of the season … you remember that, right? The pending disaster. Fire the coach. Trade everybody. Etc.
The Rangers go with the same lineup as last night’s game on the Island, except with Henrik Lundqvist in goal. Steve Eminger and Jeff Woywitka will be prucha’d, and of course Wojtek Wolski is permanently de-prucha’d, having been dealt to Florida for a third-round 2013 pick and a minor-league defenseman earlier today.
The Baby Buffaloes are stuck in 11th place in the East at NHL-.500, 27-27-7, (which means, actually, 27-34) despite a three-game winning streak. The last time they played the Rangers was that 0-0 tie, followed by a Breakaway Contest After the Hockey Game Ends (BCATHGE), in which the Rangers were successful on one more scrimmage-speed breakaway than the Baby Buffaloes.

Which, I think, turns the screws on the Blue Jackets and Scott Howson quite a bit. And I’m sure cagey Glen Sather isn’t blinking in his poker game. Interesting stuff.

As well as the players revenue sharing percentage will decrease from 57%, perhaps considerably. Having said that, in that case there will be a salary rollback in order to allow current contracts to fit into the cap. Along with buyout amnesty, etc….

MDZ very unhappy; planned on RFA hold out. Can’t get past Torts’ “swagger” comments and his trainer comment on “24/7”. Will be a great d-man but he and Torts do not get along. Lots of ego in MDZ. Some kids rise to criticism; some do not. MDZ resented having to be taken away from NYC nightlife with Avery and put under Richards’ babysitting, even though he is having a great year.

When you saw Torts with the kid on 24/7, did you think he had genuine affections for the kid? Did you think it was a fake?
Anyone that has an opinion, either way, is likely doing so based upon speech and body language whether they acknowledge it or not.
Torts wears his heart on his sleeve and is a straight speaker; one who’s language gives a lot away.
The reason I believe this about the trade is because MDZ appeared very embittered regarding Torts’ statements.
By the way, body language analysis suggests that Torts is genuine in his friendship with Liam, the young boy.
