NEW YORK RANGERS HOST ANNUAL CASINO NIGHT PRESENTED BY UNILEVER TO BENEFIT THE GARDEN OF DREAMS FOUNDATION

Full Team Event on Tuesday, February 28 – Gotham Hall

New York, February 24, 2012 – On Tuesday, February 28, the New York Rangers will trade in their blueshirts for tuxedos as they host Casino Night presented by Unilever at Gotham Hall in Manhattan to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation. The annual fundraising event, hosted by MSG Network broadcasters Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti, brings together the entire New York Rangers team, coaching staff and select alumni for a night of casino games and fun for a great cause. The players will deal cards, join guests for a buffet dinner and participate in live and silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind Rangers experiences and memorabilia. A very limited number of Casino Night tickets are still available, to purchase tickets, visit newyorkrangers.com or call 1-877-MSG-GOAL.

All net proceeds from the event will benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation; a nonprofit charity that works closely with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company, including the New York Rangers, Knicks, Liberty, MSG Network, MSG Entertainment and Fuse to “make dreams come true for kids facing obstacles”. Garden of Dreams partners with local children’s hospitals, “wish” organizations and community-based organizations to build on-going, unforgettable programs for children suffering from devastating illness, homelessness, abuse, hunger, extreme poverty and tragedy.

  1. Well, we have the Brauns to mutter about. A Braun in hockey and a Braun in Baseball on the Milwaukee team.

Just a wee bit of musing about the name. German name.
Pronounced Brown in German, not Brawn.

OK so whadda ya expect? Some deathless observations
    ALL THE TIME?

I gotta keep my fingers active and I don’t have the
inside hockey info you all have nor anything even approaching your food menus and other concoctions,so here it is……..trivia. ONWARD>

  2. it’s a game we must win but it’s not a must win. although i will say that i will be pissed if we lose because of Biron tonight….there’s no reason why Henrik cant play tonight and tomorrow after 2 days off. having Biron play every 5th or 6th game is just too much.

  3. I understand healthy arrogance – strong standing, team psyche is overrated,… not losing more than 2 in a raw symbolism is a crap,… etc., but again, to slide down is much easier and faster than climbing up or even keep balance on the top. Keep your optimism for 3 lost games sequence and then we talk (cry) about this matter…

  4. can we see the rangers lose 5 in a row before people start panicking, really, so far this season when the rangers don’t play well for a few games they have shown resilience and with Torts hammering them with the focus angle and one game at a time I’m not worried at the moment. I admit it doesn’t matter how bad the islanders are at the time they seem to bring there best against the rangers but I’m not concerned at all at the present time.

  5. Very well-written!
