I didn’t see how much Turris signed for. I think Zuccarello ($1.75M cap hit) needs a true evaluation with top 6/9 role before he’s going to be traded. A “showcase”, if you will….

I think packaging MZA with someone/something else for Turris is a decent idea. I like MZA, but I can’t see him being anything more than a third liner on most NHL teams. If he were a little bigger, I’d probably feel a little different!

Yea it’s the Maloney-Slats combo that makes me think it might happen or at least be one of the first calls Maloney makes.
Acquiring Turris would be risky though. We could make the trade, but for all we know, Don Maloney makes Dave Maloney kill Turris, and we’re left with nothing!
