Bad ice. The team is tired. It’s only the first game of the season. Blah blah blah. One look at that defense and I get the sneaking supsicion that adding Jeff Woywitka to the line up isn’t quite the move they need. And Staal coming back isn’t going to instantly make this team into the fourth-place finisher everyone seems to think they have the potential to be.
I’m sick of this every season. It’s always the same. Joke’s on me I guess, for failing to remember once again that “youth movement” is a euphemism for “bad team.”
