Our tech guys are doing some testing of the blog in some sort of iPad mode or something … not sure exactly what.
Anyway, we wanted to get his out of the way on a non-game day and well before the season. So if anything odd happens during the day (probably will), that’s what it is.
I’ll explain it better as soon as I figure out what it is they’re doing. And fear not, our guys are on top of it, so if something goes wrong they will be there to fix it, and hopefully quickly.

what’s the difference between mobile version and desktop version? It all looks the same to me.

Christensen should be on the team because he?s the 3rd best offensive player we have on the team. Does that mean he actually plays like it? Absolutely not, and that?s been his issue his whole career.
However other than Gaborik, he?s the only player that can snipe the top corner with a quick release and a hard shot and completely fool the goalie. He has the skill, it?s just a matter of him using it. When he gets on those hot streaks, it?s worth having him as a 13th/14th forward.
Avery WILL make the team as a spare forward. He?s another player that can be used in spurts because as with EC, when he?s hot and on his game, it?s also worth having him to insert in the lineup.
I?d much rather have EC and Avery be Prucha?d than Hagelin, Thomas, Bourque, or even MZA. EC and Avery aren?t going to grow anymore in regards to their play. The kids are better served being Whale?d and getting top 6 minutes so we can progress them through the system.
CCCP– are you turning on me!?That’s a great point about Prucha’ing Christensen and Avery because the kids need to develop. I submit to that reasoning.
I also agree – that top corner shot that Christensen has is really awesome. When he comes out all jazz’d up and full of jam and lets one fly in there it’s awesome. But he just doesn’t do it enough. And when he is put on the PP….dear lord it’s bad.
Do we know who’s in tomorrow yet?
Not yet. I assume Carp will put the roster up as soon as it’s released.
yeah let’s keep EC so we can wait for him to score those two top corner goals…why not, right?
Though, last year EC had his second best season in goals – 11 (18 best) Assists – 16 (18 best) Points 27 (33 best) and most career games played in a season with 63 (previous best 61) So yeah, he pretty much had a career year last season.
Good thing we don’t have to worry about a “sophomore slump” with him…

Yup – as you can see – I just checked out the mobile version of this site and all I can say is that it’s awesome. I used to have so much trouble typing my posts because as the ads loaded it would screw up what I was typing. Now everything is so user friendly.
