Larry Brooks is reporting that Marc Staal developed post-concussion symptoms over the summer … from the hit he took from his brother in Carolina last February.
And that Marc Staal will be held out of the scrimmages and three North American preseason games as a precaution, even though he has been medically cleared for contact.
Maybe it’s nothing, but experience tells us that there is never certainty surrounding concussions and PCS.

Upsetting news about Staal. As I said I was hoping the injury bug didn’t hang around from last year but it sounds like a handful of these guys are still not 100% yet. Just hate seeing the 800lb gorilla they call PCS in the room. Really isn’t a good situation for this young player or the team.

I was watching the episode “Crème Fraiche” a few weeks ago. Still makes me laugh! If you haven’t seen it, you should check it out. It’s the last episode of season 14.
Creme Fraiche is very funny too. I can watch them all again and again. That’s the beauty of it! I’ve seen almost every episode.
I’ll say this, I love the series, and it will always crack me up, but I HATED the movie. I’ve seen it once, and I’ll never see it again. Absolute garbage. Maybe if they try again, it can get better, especially since they have so many more character that can hold their own, as opposed to the movie, which was just the four of them and Chef.
The movie is its own thing, really… they (Matt and Trey) are obsessed with musicals apparently, and the 20-something minute structure of the TV episodes really doesn’t translate exactly into a feature-length film. That being said, I still like it, because, well, it IS funny, you have to admit… Saddam and Satan and all that? It’s got its moments…
Oh btw, I’m guessing that I’ve seen Casa Bonita more times than any other episode. When Cartman pretends to be attacked by a zombie and he breaks the stick and then “hides” Butters in the old fridge…HILARIOUS! And at the end, “Was it worth it kid?” “Totally.” HAHAhahaa
New How I Met Your Mother tomorrow and new Boardwalk Empire next week? YES. House should be starting soon, too!
