first!
That’s huge!
Huuuuuuuge!
Del Z is retiring from Tweeter. It’s a miracle!
Thanks ORR, my being first is huge.
building a center eh? I’ve looked him up….explain….
how about a column about the MSG renovations, which are going to price the hardcore blue collar fans out of the building. they already have a 23% increase in season ticket prices this year.
this story from Kuklas Korner says plenty about it

wreck, I’m with you on this:
“The Garden will be another vanilla building, albeit one even more full of tourists and businessmen who endlessly talk on their Blackberries while ignoring the action,” Scotty said. “It is just another case of eroding your long-term fan base in exchange for a short-term money grab.”
I am sad. That’s why most fans look like seats. Hartnell!
Until we make the playoff that is, and all the money fans show up and claim blue blood. boudreau.
and that’s an EN…TA! and I mean that…..
Here you go, wrecklund:

“RANGERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH FREE AGENT FORWARD ANDRE DEVEAUX”
The big question is … why?
Whoah….not a Defenseman!? What’s going on!?
Looks like they need another French tough guy (isn’t it oxymoron?) in Hartford.
BTW, Biron’s new helmet (if you didn’t see it before):

But everyone is forgetting that while 18,000 seats will either be empty or have a tourist/businessman in it for about five minutes per period while he talks on his Blackberry, the poor people will get a nice bridge to play with. Not all bad news.
HUUUUUUUUUUGE!
“The Freeport, Bahamas native…” Really? wow!
Chopper, that line goes to Carp…I just stole it :) but it’s accurate, thanks to Dolanvision (that’s mine :)
Double TA hah….that’s a wicky.
I’m just wonderin’ what is our Izzy has in common with Mets Izzy – Jason Isringhausen, who has gotten his 300th career save? Being funny, or knowing timing for action?
LW, also ha ha…OK, hartnell you, wicky, that’s double TA and wicky…..and mama fades to black….
Caribbopansy.
the fact that they have to offer a new interest-free 10 month payment plan says it all. it says big bux, you gotta finance your tickets like a mortgage.
Deveaux for Captain.
Rangers fans seem to be making a big deal aboot this signing on Tweeter. They just love to complain aboot anything they can
Hey LW – I think a new Issue of “Butt-Man” is out. I don’t know if you can pick it up in the UK – I will mail it to you.
How many 23 goal scorers were there in Hartford last year?
Well, we’ve got Bell and Deveaux, I think Sather signs Biv by the end of the week.
That girl is poisooooon
do you read me yet on here?
Todd White got the “3” part, if that counts.
Ureka/ I’ve found it This time I left the Website blank and it worked. I am drooling over the info you folks are getting and if any of you know who all these new guys are, how about spreading a “knowledge page” for those of us down here in never never land> I can feel the season warming up. I have no problem sending y’all some insights to my past but there;s plenty of time for that, and this is borderline Hockey Season, and I don’t wanna be left behind, I do hope that msg is going to broadcast the games this year, because that was my Ranger link last year.
MAN I WISH I COULD GET UP THERE FOR A
COUPLE OF GAMES THIS SEASON, BUT LET’S FACE IT. TBW WOULD SIMPLY NOT
LETTHAT HAPPEN. PERIOD. And her wish is my command.fran, never say never.
You could always tell TBW you have to make a delivery in NY. Oranges or something.

Eureka! Said Archimedes to Torts and put Avery as a left wing on 1st line.

Lmfao!!!!
I just watched highlights of every Cup deciding game from 84 to now, pretty good stuff. I laughed when I saw the Panthers were in the Cup finals. I had no idea!
Will that team ever be good again??
Yeah Panthers made it to the finals in their first year in the league I believe… but got swept by the Avalanche. It was Colorado’s first cup. I remember that series…Avalanche was such a force back then. And it was also pretty exciting to see first year team go almost all the way.
That team is just horrible. What’s even worse is, they’re even more horrible at drafting. Nothing but flat out busts. I think Weiss is their only decent 1st round pick, and he’s not the kind of guy who’s going to make a significant change.
They need a Crosby/Ovechkin to kick start the process, obviously
A lot of hockey people say that Florida is one the most improved teams in the league right now. They brought a lot new players.
I don’t know…any team with Three-or-more in net is not the most improved team in my book lol
I don’t know, seems to me they just overpaid for a couple of 3rd liners, hoping they’ll turn into first liners. Wishful thinking.
Sens and Panthers will battle it out for 1st overall!
Wasn’t Pavel Bure on that Panther team? And Luongo? Panthers have some pretty good players now, but they kill themselves by getting good ones and then let themselves make bum trades and lose many of their good ones.
hey
