  1. wreck, I’m with you on this:

“The Garden will be another vanilla building, albeit one even more full of tourists and businessmen who endlessly talk on their Blackberries while ignoring the action,” Scotty said. “It is just another case of eroding your long-term fan base in exchange for a short-term money grab.”

I am sad. That’s why most fans look like seats. Hartnell!

  2. Until we make the playoff that is, and all the money fans show up and claim blue blood. boudreau.

  3. But everyone is forgetting that while 18,000 seats will either be empty or have a tourist/businessman in it for about five minutes per period while he talks on his Blackberry, the poor people will get a nice bridge to play with. Not all bad news.

  4. Chopper, that line goes to Carp…I just stole it :) but it’s accurate, thanks to Dolanvision (that’s mine :)

    Double TA hah….that’s a wicky.

  5. I’m just wonderin’ what is our Izzy has in common with Mets Izzy – Jason Isringhausen, who has gotten his 300th career save? Being funny, or knowing timing for action?

  6. LW, also ha ha…OK, hartnell you, wicky, that’s double TA and wicky…..and mama fades to black….

  7. the fact that they have to offer a new interest-free 10 month payment plan says it all. it says big bux, you gotta finance your tickets like a mortgage.

  8. Hey LW – I think a new Issue of “Butt-Man” is out. I don’t know if you can pick it up in the UK – I will mail it to you.

  9. Well, we’ve got Bell and Deveaux, I think Sather signs Biv by the end of the week.

    That girl is poisooooon

  10. Ureka/ I’ve found it This time I left the Website blank and it worked. I am drooling over the info you folks are getting and if any of you know who all these new guys are, how about spreading a “knowledge page” for those of us down here in never never land> I can feel the season warming up. I have no problem sending y’all some insights to my past but there;s plenty of time for that, and this is borderline Hockey Season, and I don’t wanna be left behind, I do hope that msg is going to broadcast the games this year, because that was my Ranger link last year.

  11. MAN I WISH I COULD GET UP THERE FOR A
COUPLE OF GAMES THIS SEASON, BUT LET’S FACE IT. TBW WOULD SIMPLY NOT -LET- THAT HAPPEN. PERIOD. And her wish is my command.

  12. Checked Hockeydb.com, only “Biv” I can find

    Tom Bivona 1986-1990 Northeastern University

I don’t know if he can sing, but at least he’s picked up a stick before, he’ll have to do

  13. thank god no more MDZ Tweets. finally the alarm clock has gone off in this little cocky kid head. get to work and get better.

  14. as for tickets just remember you can come to me for face value tickets. i will list games i cant make.

  15. Yeah Panthers made it to the finals in their first year in the league I believe… but got swept by the Avalanche. It was Colorado’s first cup. I remember that series…Avalanche was such a force back then. And it was also pretty exciting to see first year team go almost all the way.

  16. That team is just horrible. What’s even worse is, they’re even more horrible at drafting. Nothing but flat out busts. I think Weiss is their only decent 1st round pick, and he’s not the kind of guy who’s going to make a significant change.

They need a Crosby/Ovechkin to kick start the process, obviously

  17. A lot of hockey people say that Florida is one the most improved teams in the league right now. They brought a lot new players.

I don’t know…any team with Three-or-more in net is not the most improved team in my book lol

  18. Wasn’t Pavel Bure on that Panther team? And Luongo? Panthers have some pretty good players now, but they kill themselves by getting good ones and then let themselves make bum trades and lose many of their good ones.
