NEW YORK RANGERS HOST 7th ANNUAL SUMMER YOUTH HOCKEY CAMP
NEW YORK, July 8, 2011 – The New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp returns for the 7th year this summer, providing children with top-level hockey instruction with a focus on team participation and personal development. The camp consists of three multi-day sessions in Tarrytown, NY, and a newly developed program in Bridgeport, CT. The schedule is as follows:

Through New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp, youth players 7-15 years old will have the opportunity to learn from the top instructors in the tri-state area, including members of the Rangers Coaching and Training Staff, as well as Rangers great Adam Graves who will return to assist with skills development for all campers. The children will also be visited by a selection of Rangers current top players and alumni throughout the program. In 2010, New York Rangers Brandon Prust, Brian Boyle, and Sean Avery made special appearances.
“It’s a privilege to be able to provide young hockey players with this caliber of professional training. Our hockey school emphasizes a complete NHL level development program both on and off the ice,” said Rangers legend Adam Graves, a key participant in running the camp through his role in Rangers Hockey and Business Operation.

Soon as I say this, Slats will make a monkey out of me, but I am happy and thank you, Slats, for not signing the “McCabe’s” for this off-season, Mark Parrish, signed by Montreal, and Jason Arnott, signed by St. Louis. What the hell are these teams thinking, bringing in downside, virtual wash-outs? Oh yes, “experience” is king. All those years we were trapped in that pit of stupidity, too. Hopefully that is all behind us, now. Good luck Montreal and St. Louis, Drip-Dry Chrissy is still on the table too, if you want to sign him and be a threat to every bottom-feeder team in the AHL, this coming season.

4Ever – I don’t like it, but since January I have been afflicted with insomnia. It has its good and bad points. I watch movies on Youtube, The Deer Hunter last night, do sports and investment (mostly commodities and futures) stats, horse racing stats, even music stats, for enlightenment and in some cases, profit.
But the days, especially the mornings, are rough. You finally get to sleep and some broker or magazine subscription hustler calls you. You get knocks on your door waking you from a sound slumber. So my bio-rhythm is shot, its like I fly through time zones every day of my life, not a life style to be envied. You haven’t lived until you are walking up and down the hallway in the apartment complex where you live, at 4 a.m., with your two cats slong for the exercise.

Stamkos has no leverage. He has no arbitration rights and got zero offer sheets Even if he asked for a trade, it doesn’t mean they have to trade him. He can sit out a season and lose tons of money, and slow down his development, or he can sign the best available deal. Stay tuned, he isn’t going anywhere.

Yesterday was the first day I woke up and was able to hop out of bed, ilb. Didn’t take any painkillers and was able to get through the day fine. yes eddie, im in iowa. its partially by necessity. i have family here and after my wifes ar accident, i was working 2 and sometims a 3rd job part time to pay bills. we moved out here when she got prgnant. i only have to work 1 job here to live modestly. we are divorced now but remain friends. even aftr child support, the one job im able to live comfortably. yes i miss ny, the pizza sucks here, and its kinda dull, but its good place to raise a kid, its also good for my stress!!. very easygoing. and my daughter is great. i will get on fb and post somenew pics soon. i havent been on thee really. and happy b day to linda and tiki as well!
