Tough to score goals when every Ranger forward (other than Gaborik) is truly a 3rd line player. That includes Callahan (limited hockey skills) and Dubinsky (limited decision making skills).

Right on CPJ ’s post at 8:40 where states “Torts sure knows how to come up short at the end of the season, doesn’t he blows a 3-1 lead to the Caps after his little temper tantrum with a fan behind the glass” Honestly, this is not the same team we’ve been watching the last couple of weeks. What in the world is wrong. I know it’s difficult to play Lunch Pail Hockey for 82 games and still have energy in the playoffs. The Bruins of over 10 years ago used to die at the end of every season. Without scoring it’s hard to check your ass off every game and expect Hank to stand on his head every night. Are we finally out of gas??? Why does Torts sit players for long periods of time and wear out the productive people this late in the season.??? Why did he break up the four lines that were so effective several weeks ago??? It’s too freeken late in the season. I guarantee you that the Isles will get killed by Carolina this weekend.
