Fair call by the referees. Must not be Bill McCreary in charge. We can and hopefully will improve our play over the course of the rest of this game. Henrik has been playing exceptionally the past couple games, it’d be helpful if our defense tried to help him out a bit. Ya know, keep him as fresh as can be and injury-free.

Rangers are poised for a playoff run and could pull an upset if they are healthy. Lundqvist is capable of carrying the team at least one round if there is a little bit of scoring.
Rangers finally look good in the faceoff circle tonight – 65% through 2 periods (noticeable on the PP – winning those draws leads to increased attack time) – still shocking to me that they’re only 46% on the season – that is woeful.

yea i got ya chris. i love gabby and hopes he does well. i just think he could change his game up a little and get another gear for other games when we really need a big gola in a tight game. last year he was great, kinda tailed off in teh 2nd half though. but hes so skilled i just hate that guys like cally bust their ass to get hard earned goals and gabby could be so much more effective if he had a little fire in his game. most nights he doesnt. thats all.

See, that’s what I disagree with, Grab – I think Gabby’s got too much fire in his game for the style player he is. Guys like Cally thrive when he’s throwing his body around and battling in front. I think when Gabby does stuff like that (which I think he’s been trying to this year), he saps his energy away from his real skill – skating and finding open ice. Plus, I think he’s been a bit of a mental case this season because of the injuries. I can’t imagine that it’s easy for a guy who has a history of getting hurt to not worry about getting ANOTHER injury when he’s already missed significant time during the season. Just my thoughts, though. Glad to discuss it, though! =)

Lets just hope it does NOT come down to that. 4ever , the heart attack part will ultimately always be there cuz when the Ranger do make the playoffs ..its going to be a heart pounder and a nail biter all the way. Good thing is , is we have Hank ,Staal and Dubinsky. Those three will be our “horses” who will make that difference . The playoffs was so stressfull a few years back and then again the year before with Jagr. Its always stressfull and even when the Rangers walked through the playoff they always drive the Daggerr further by taking us to a game 7 in ‘94 . We always seem to be put through the ringer so this year do not expect any different . We will not go down with out a fight though. Rangers will make us proud but all of us will have pacemakers some point in time.

actually Mickey the senario is a good one . We scored first and then NJ had to tie…all the presure was on NJ to score just for the tie. That would be the less stressfull senario just think if the Devils scored first and twice where we tied it up and it went 17 rounds where McDoughnut scores it that would be a nail biter.
