Hey, here’s a great idea for the Rangers tonight against the Sens. Why don’t they play a non-descript 1st period, fall behind 1-0 on a not soft, but not unstoppable goal, then come out in the second, start to gain territorial advantage, wake Craig Anderson up with some rubber, and wind up trading 2nd period goals, thereby going into the 3rd down 2-1.
Then, the 3rd period is the key. Why don’t they turn on the juices full throttle, pepper Anderson with shots, not allow the Sens in their zone all period, outshoot Ottowa 15-3 in the 3rd, but fail to break though, and lose the game 2-1.
Can’t wait.
