It’s Go Time (deadline version)!

Larry Brooks tweets that the asking price for Richards is Anisimov, a No. 1 pick, and a prospect. Which is about what I figured it would be …
And we know Glen Sather will use his leverage on the Stars’ ownership and management. Give him that. The man knows how to play hockey-deal poker. Because as we head toward 3 p.m. Eastern, unless Dallas gets a bidding war going (with Los Angeles?), the price comes down.
Darren Dreger tweets that there is only one team to which Richards would waive his no-trade clause. His guess is as good as yours: The team with Richards’ former Stanley Cup-winning coach, John Tortorella.
Nick Kypreos reporting that Habs are interested in re-acquring Christopher Higgins, who has a broken thumb. There’s a punchline in there somewhere.
Bob McKenzie reports LA Kings sign Justin Williams for four years, $14.6M.
USA Today’s Kevin Allen reports Atlanta close to signing Mark Stuart for three years.
Islanders may be shopping Konopka, and while he might be a knucklehead, he’s a guy lots of teams might want: Tough, willing, skates well enough to deliver hits and kill penalties, and good on faceoffs.
Florida trades Radek Dvorak (again) and a fifth rounder to Atlanta for Nick Bergfors and Patrick Rismiller (remember him?).
Florida trades Dennis Wideman to Washington for Jake Hauswirth and a third-rounder.
Detroit close to signing Jimmy Howard to a contract extension.
Calgary claims Brett Carson on waivers.
Ottawa claims Curtis McIlhenney on waivers.
Atlanta claims Rob Schremp on waivers (apologize for any spelling errors).
Columbus trades Klesla to Phoenix for Upshall and Lepisto.
Dallas Morning News reporter Mike Heika spoke with Brad Richards, who skated this morning, and who said he hasn’t spoken to anybody about his no-trade clause.
TSN reporting Ottawa trades Chris Campoli to Chicago for a second-round pick and Ryan Potulny.
McKenzie reports St. Louis trades Brad Winchester to Anaheim for a 3rd round pick.
Also, Bryan Allen from Florida to Carolina for Sergei Samsonov.
St. Louis deals Brad Winchester to Anaheim for a third-round pick.
Colorado trades Kevin Montgomery to Edmonton for Shawn Belle.
Big deal of the day so far: Edmonton trades Dustin Penner to the Kings for Colton Teubery, a first-round pick and a conditional third or second-rounder. Which might mean the Rangers are all alone in the Richards sweepstakes, which means with little more than 30 minutes left, Glen Sather has all the leverage … though a high price has been set.
