More from practice in a while.
But the big news is that Brandon Dubinsky, along with Vinny Prospal and Erik Christensen, are all out there practicing in orange no-contact jerseys, and Dubinsky doesn’t look hampered at all. Maybe his return will be sooner than expected.
Also, Dan Girardi is practicing, so the Rangers have seven defensemen at the moment, with Del Zotto up. That could change.
Ryan Callahan plans to return tomorrow (though we haven’t spoken to him yet).
Here are the practice lines:
Wolski-Stepan-Callahan
Avery-Anisimov-Gaborik
Zuccarello-Boyle-Prust
Grachev-Newbury-Drury
Dubinsky-Prospal-Christensen.
Will be back with more later.

First!
Can’t wait for Cally to get back on the ice. He was missed!
Drury is like a sore thumb…
Now Torts won’t even have Drury take faceoffs! What a captain!
Nearly Carp’ed by 1 minute:
Dubi is skating? I guess skating doesn’t have the impact stress of running on the leg, but wouldn’t the high amounts of torque with the stopping/starting/turning of skating still put stress on the leg?
Dubinsky got the skates on his hands…he skates upside down… this way he can participate in practice and avoid putting stress on the leg :)
Torts hinted at both Dubi, and Prospal making early returns. I have a feeling you will see Dubi tomorrow.
Great news Carp!
3CP: How would he shoot though?
WoWo-ekuh
why you got to be the smart one, eh? He shoots with his mouth! happy? :P
Carp, did you hear anything that the Rangers agreed to the invitation to open next season in Europe mayb in Germany ???
And do you know when the NHL will announce the details of the NHL Premiere in Europe for 2011 ???
Can´t wait to see the Rangers either in Hamburg/Berlin/Mannheim as I have missed them two years ago in Berne due to personal matters !!!!
Das wär super wenn die Rangers nach Deutschland kämen !!!!:)
Remember we had those jokes about Gaborik being basically a head rolling around the ice and scoring goals? Maybe Dubi’s actually doing something similar.
I really should know more German considering I work for a German firm. Uh, does that mean it will be super when the Rangers come to Germany?
You guys see this? This drunken A-hole attacked Pucky the Whale at a Conn Whale game. Newbury should have gotten his hands on this clown

Dubinsky can’t possibly be able to play tomorrow, can he?
Will Torts carry 7 D? He hates doing that.
I really hope they’re not rushing Dubi back and he’s actually perfectly okay to skate. It’s worth missing a few extra games to be 100% for the playoff push.
Can’t wait to get Callahan back, it’s like having a 3rd defenseman on the ice at all times.

Let’s go Rangers!
I honestly can’t wait too see prospal back.
when all are back, I expect Fedo will go back with his line with Boyle & Prust, and Zucc will go with Dubi and Prospal. that leaves Drury and EC as the extras and fillins.
Finally Zuccarello with Boyle.
I would like to see the Pack Line reunited:
Dubi – Artie – Cally
That line was sick in the beginning of the season!
Torts says Vinny Prospal will get two more skates in and then “he’ll be ready to go Thursday”
WOW!
Agree nyr.
That lline should be a given when all are back…
Avery-Prospal-Gaborik
Dubinsky-Artie-Callahan
Wolski-Stepan-Zuccarello
Feds-Boyle-Prust
Sub EC and Drury for Avery as needed and we are set!!!
I am a huge Avery fan but he does not belong on one of the top 3 lines let alone the 1st line now that players are returning. These are the lines I would use for Thursday (assuming Dubinsky is ready to go)
Wolski-Anisimov-Gaborik
Dubinsky-Stepan-Zuccarello
Prust-Boyle-Callahan
Avery-Drury-Prospal
