I’m out plowing the five inches of snow that was supposed to be less than one inch. Then I’m headed to MSG.

FIRE SATHER!
Before he ruins this team…
LET’S GO WOLFPACK
Just because I might be paranoid doesn’t mean Sather won’t screw it up…
Heart. End of story. This team has plenty of it. Can’t say it enough times.
Nifty moves by Wolski… Zuc loves that move he did… took the goalie all the way out of the net haha… left his jock behind.
Carp… 5 inches? Nothin stuck by me thus far… where did you get 5?
Don’t remind me Carp, I’m going to have to deal with that snow after I come home from the game. I’m assuming where I live got the same amount of snow where you live.
CT, any chance you’d be into warren after?
Don’t think so this time mama, based on Carp’s weather report I’ve got some shoveling to do tonight.
You know what’s odd??
I was watching the replay of the whole shootout from the VS feed, when Zuc is about to go, the graphic shows Brian Boyle (0-1 shootouts career). WTB??
Nice job Versus.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEaiMk6Pd28 (1:44 shows the blunder)
awww shucks :(
Where are you sitting tonight?
actually debating if I’m going to go in tonight. was tentatively supposed to go with tr and the mrs, but haven’t heard back from him …. may just eat the tix
If we can’t beat these losers after back to back tough games against contenders, then this will be a shi*tty AS break!
Kill ‘em!
http://www.nyrangersblog.com/2011-articles/january/video-rangers-youth-movement.html
Nice little video about the Rangers youth movement that should have us all fired up for the future of this team!
Versus sucks. Plain and simple.
I don’t know why Versus can’t use the MSG feed instead of creating their own, along with announcers working for them.
Stupid!
Not that the MSG is special, but it’s better than the tools on Versus.
I truly feel bad for Craps fans. How can they live with Beninati, and the other guy with the pedophile voice. Horrifically horrific!
I’ll be at the game tonight. Can’t wait, since it’s my last Rangers fix for a week. LGR!
I want to go to the game tonight but i have no one to go with me…
Mama sent you an email.
I’d go with ya, True Blue, but I don’t think I can make it there from North Carolina in less than 4 hours.
ct, sent back
As bad as the Versus broadcast is, I greatly enjoyed listening to Kenny and Dave with Versus on mute. They are so much better at announcing than Sam and Joe. I don;t mind Sam but I can’t stand Joe lately. When Kenny and Dave are doing the game, it’s a pleasure to listen to the Rangers radio network.
Orr, Versus has used the MSG feed before. i THINK it was for the Blues game, but I could be wrong about that.
Mama, sent one back from your sent back.
Eric, if you’re on the blog, please check your email.
five inches of snow ?
I just looked outside – nothing
Guess it hasn’t gotten here yet.
Yeah, I notice that they do that for the late games. But, the games that start at 7:00-7:30, they use their own.
Might be the Tuesday games too.
for the record I have nothing against Matt Gilroy. I think he is a good solid defenseman that can chip in on offense but this idea that he is a top prospect and is going to blossom into a top pair guy is laughable. I like Gilroy and I have no problem with him being here but we will be just as young and just as good in the back without him going forward so if I can package him along with our extra 2nd round pick and potentially solve our PP problem, how can you pass that up???
Tony, yadda yadda. Some of us will be trekking through 5 inches of snow so we can sit at MSG tonight and watch the Rangers play in person. What say you to that? :)
CT, don’t make me change my mind!
CT – jealous !!!
Thank god youse guys can’t really make any transactions.
Doesn’t NHL11 have a GM mode or something?
Let the cake bake. Don’t touch the temperature setting. Stop opening the oven door every 5 minutes to take a peak. Let the cake bake.
_
MZA is as Cool as a Zuccumber.
ddeb…..LOL!
Lundqvist must be good tonight…we need 2 more points
CCCP, you should go with mama to the game tonight and W77.
is she paying? :)
Hopefully the guys can keep up the intensity for one more night and grab 2 more points. Then they get a weeks rest and start to regain some bodies – Cally and Girardi first and then within a couple of games Duby and EC. What a shoot out lineup- Wolsky, Zucc and EC>
no, she is not. she’s actually changed her mind and is staying home : (
CCCP, sent you a message via FB.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2XeNO_S56s
The full shootout if you want to see Anisimov’s or the Caps’ moves. The Hendricks one was pretty good.
Mama isn’t going? Looks like DVR for me too…
ilb, nah…..mama is bummed, but made a rare adult decision to stay home since nobody wanted to play after the game. oh well. got 2 games and warren nights coming up next month.
how come u on dvr?
HA! speaking of Hendricks:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMLHqHu8NMY&feature=related
mama, you’re not coming tonight?
Carp, just sent you e-mail. regretful change in plans…:( but I will definitely be there Feb. 13 and 27.
also, sent you my address for my gift :)
The Rangers are fifth in the league in goal differential, at +23. I know a couple of 7-0 wins helps things, but that’s still pretty impressive for a team that’s essentially been beat-up since game number 1.
Mama – I hate to see a good ticket go to waste. I am sure the Garden will not be the same without you.
Thanks Chopper…....I’m not thrilled, but carcillo happens :) I’ll be here though and at MSG in spirit!
hey, since I won’t be there, does that mean MSG won’t be “sold out? :)
Chuck, I think the other side to that stat is they also haven’t suffered many blowout losses. Lots of close games and that’s good to see.
If you paid, then it is sold out…....
CMON RANGERS!
Chopper, I know :)
OK all, off to fulfill mad craving for French onion soup…see you later for game…CT, yell extra loud for me!!
Blogmama –
This is random but the frozen french onion soups at Cosco – Price Club are UNREAL. 6 to a box, croutons and swiss cheese… AMAZING.
If I remember correctly, isn’t today Esa Tikanen’s birthday?
Happy Birthday Esa!
I’ll go to any game (Rangers, haha) anyone is willing to take me to! :D
OMG I was just at the store looking for broth to make slowcooker French Onion Soup. My first attempt to do so.
new post.
