About Author

  1. the gutsiest win of the year.

5 on 3, you need to shoot the puck morons.

the young guys are really stepping up.

mats and stepan can friggin play.

mcdonough is a good player also.

drury is like the last forward…..

  2. Dang, Carped myself….

Grachev up for Weise show how little they think of Weise’s game. Also shows they know they need offense and are praying for Grachev to provide it.

  3. RePosted;

Yes the toaster Buitoni pizzas! Best Pizzas EVER.

SO worth scorching the roof of your mouth!

I occasionally harass Buitoni’s website for them to make them again.
They’re missing out on a fortune!

MDZ better behave himself this time if he wants to stay in NY.

  4. The break cannot come soon enough for this team.

Once everyone is healthy, I have a feeling Drury might be a healthy scratch on a consistent basis.

  5. Think Steph got his first big-league facial scar tonight.

He got walloped a few times and had a nice gash under the eye.

I like that when he gets hit, he looks to retaliate.

  6. the rangers theme of the season comes from one Cosmo Kramer: ” I’ll work nights, weekends WHATEVER it takes!!!!”

  7. I know the ones Rod is talking about. They look kind of like English muffins, but with tomato sauce and mozzarella in the middle. Pop them in the toaster, burn your fingers getting them out, burn the roof of your mouth eating them … and it’s worth it.

  8. Apparently both Prust and Girardi wanted to stay in the game, but Torts forced them out.

Damn but this team has heart and guts up the wazoo.

  9. quick question mickey… if i said i was a buell.. would u know what that meant.. and i dont mean a motorcycle

  10. Just returned. I had to actually do my job for a while.
I wasn’t worried. 1 goal game into the third – we do well at gut check time!
MickeyM – your right Drury absolutely has to sit; who else would come out?
I’m getting a Zuccarello jersey; it’s been a while, my last one was Graves

  11. i am the younger brother… one of them anyway… thought i knew who it was when st louis was brought up a coupl days ago.. small world!!

  12. Ya see, everybody luved them!

Funny enough, it’s the worst food in the world, but Subway makes a sauce that smells just like them!

  13. LOL. Dangit, I always got you and E mixed up! How they hell are you man?

    And small world, indeed!

  14. Not bad at all. People here are babies when it comes to winter weather (they close school for 3-6 inches. SRSLY), but for the most part I like it. A lot different from NY, that is for sure.

    How’s your sister? Home yet?

  15. Thank god. I’ve been worried about her. I see her facebook posts and it just doesn’t sound like a good situation or mental place for her.

So what’s new with you? Been ages..

  16. working for the good ole city.. hanging out… enjoying this rangers season.. just starting to post here been reading for a long time

  17. haha thanks!! im actually manager of Frear Park Golf Course now… will try to have to get Carp up to play a round haha

  18. Norwegian chicks…… Theres a new one for me, but I’m a little old for that sort of thing. and If Joe came near me I probably would have to pull my wife of him while he still had fingers, and legs for that matter!

  19. LOL. Carp does go up for the high school tourney’s later in the winter, I know that. Too early for golf though.

Dead time of year for you, eh?

  20. Watching the replay. What the heck kinda name is “Brodie”. I sometimes think they just make up names in Canada.

  21. UGH. Sounds as good my nephew’s team. Last I knew they were like 2-8 or something like that. Got spanked like 53-11 a few weeks ago. Poor guys.

  22. Im surprised they called up Del Zotto, he’s still been shaky in his own end. Not like it matters much anyway as McDonagh has left HFD behind for good.

Grachev has been on fire lately and with the hattirck tonight, deserves the call.

  23. I’m surprised Staal didn’t seperate his shoulder on that hit. And I think I can pinpoint when Danny got hurt in the fight. Not sure though.

  24. oleo, I think they wanted a Dman who had NHL experience. That is the only reason. Otherwise it would have been THREE rookies on D against the Caps. Don’t think they wanted that.

  25. On that note, niters gang!

josh, great to reconnect with you! Hope to see you around here more. Look me up on fb if you’re on there.

  26. Hurray for Brian Boyle. He deserved to be one of the 3 stars and he should have been a star other times too.

  27. How about that Italian kid. What a player. 5 shots and +1 tonight in 17:59. What a GWG in the shootout! I hope this guy is a Ranger for a long time.

Maybe Grachev will take a page out of Zuke’s book and cement his spot in the NHL now. Evgeny has enough talent and skating ability to make a serious dent in this league as a power forward. Like oleo said, he has turned it on of late in Hartford, especially with the hat trick tonight. You never know… Torts is the type of coach a guy like Grachev and all these other call ups need…they all need a good kick in the aasen.
