As for the trade – it is definitely good for all parties. For us, if nothing else, gives an excitement of another hope and food for discussions.

In all seriousness, Montreal showed better skill and more speed. They’ve had issues with teams like that all season long. They could never get the puck enough to start cycling, nor did they hit enough. Seems like they’ve backed off on the hitting recently.

Rangers deserved to lose tonight – too many stretches of invisible play and another horrible goal by Lundqvist – he’s let in too many of those this year. This one was the first in probably a 1/2 dozen games and IMO, it’s no coincidence the Rangers won most of those.
With an offensively challenged team like the Rangers in front of him, those are killers.
I’m not blaming the King solely for the loss, however – it was a total team effort.
