Taking my first look at the standings in a while. Nice little separation between the Rangers in 8th and Sabres in 9th. Seven points is a lot so early. Devils with less than two goals scored per game! Only 50 GF in 27. It worse than the Isles who have 53 in 25. Kings have best GA in the west at 61 in 25 games. They’re last in the Pacific but have six(!) games in hand on the Ducks in 4th.

I just placed my raffle order with the Garden of Dreams telethon. This week is the one-year anniversary of my great-uncle’s passing. In his final days, he found joy in watching Ranger games. He was a die-hard Ranger fan and his family selected the Garden of Dreams foundation for donations in memory. It’s a very fitting time for the raffle and a wonderful organization.
