Henrik Lundqvist is expected to start in goal, and Michal Rozsival will not return from his injury. Not sure if Todd White or Derek Boogaard (or somebody else) will be prucha’d.
But the lines apparently will be shuffled, with the Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan line completely dismantled, and all three players playing on different lines.
At practice yesterday, Dubinsky skated with Derek Stepan and Marian Gaborik, Callahan skated with Boyle and Fedotenko, and Anisimov centered Frolov and Prust.
Gaborik, obviously, will be worth watching after the coach called him out following the Tampa Bay game Wednesday (then said he wasn’t calling him out). Whether he was or wasn’t, Gaborik was a no-show in that game and John Tortorella noted that Tampa’s best players sure showed up.
So it’ll be interesting to see Gaborik separated from his other no-show linemate, Alex Frolov, and with somebody with a little grit on that wing.

As predicted, it becomes a Rangers trend – to win after embarrassing lost. What scared me today however, is that sometimes they just stop skating, having a “cotton” legs. Bad sign for back to back games on a road. What happened to a much heralded preseason conditioning? Particular to the team so young and so early in a season, when hard work and non-stop forechecking are nearly the only team virtue, they can rely on day in and day out. Didn’t see the schedule? Nashville fast and persistent and that’s concern me already, spoiling joy from win.

Well, got back from the game and it seemed there were double the amount of Ranger fans, as there were Panther fans. Pretty much like how the Panther outshot the Rangers 2 to 1.
The Rangers were sloppy tonight and were lucky to get out a win, let alone a shutout tonight. Henrik saved them tonight and Florida using their back-up goalie was a big plus for us.
They could not get the puck out of their zone without giving the puck away so many times. But, a win is a win in my book.
