It’s not embarrassing. That’s just the way the leagues want it. They want NY cheated and stuck behind the 8 ball. You’d think they’d want the largest media market in the world to have good teams, but they dont. They just want us to fail and fail miserably.

I’ve been saying that for a while, kids got naturally the best touch and best hockey IQ of the home grown guys. He put on muscle and got better with keeping his head up this year. He’s the guy that’s got 80 point potential.

I tend not to overblow a bad game from a player and propagate it to how they play overall, but holy jeebus Christensen needs to keep Boog or whomever the healthy scratches are for the next couple of games. Almost cost them the game tonight and a few nifty goals here and there aren’t enough to justify his pairing with Gaborik.

That was one interesting game. Great to get the win. I wonder if Hank had played minus the flu, would they have won? Biron played a good game. The Rangers must wonder sometimes. It seems the refs have differant rules, depending on who you happen to get. It really gets Torts going, and you really can’t blame him. It was a crap shoot tonight, either team could have won. I was not impressed with some of the guys at times. When is the Christenson experiment going to end. I guess when the injured guys come back. Sauer played well, but Staal had a hard time at times. The first period was very good for the Rangers then they slacked off. They had the chances but could not put them away. Next game the oilers another bunch of young guys, and Tom Renney at the helm. Should be a good game. Night all.
I think Torts should send down Froloaf, White, and EC, and bring up some kids, MZA, Gravchev, Newburry

Is it just me, or is Eminger really not all that bad? He made a really nice save at the blue line to tap the puck back deeper in the offensive zone…if he missed the puck, it would have been an odd man rush the other way.
I’ll eat some crow, not impressed with Eminger the first few games but he’s played better. Still wouldn’t sign him beyond this year but he’s capable enough for now (now = until his next ill-advised penalty).
Can’t wait to hear what Torts doesn’t have to say on those 2 goals.

Either the refs are incompetent or something is fishy because every ranger game I’ve watched this year the rangers have gotten screwed by the refs. Tonight was no difference and how in the world can the puck go in the net, while the puck is stopped in the net the ref than blows the whistle and stated there is no goal.
AA and Sauer have mighty bright futures ahead of them.

Wish we had Biron – or a different legitimate backup goalie – in those years we lost to Buff and Pitts in the playoffs. Would have really helped keep Henrik keep fresh and helped the NYR to more victories and better playoff seeding.
