Mike Sauer goes back into the lineup tonight, as does Todd White. Evgeny Grachev gets another look, too. That means Derek Boogaard and Matt Gilroy are prucha’d. Coach John Tortorella told reporters that the prucha-ing of Gilroy has nothing to do with Gilroy’s play, but that he needs to get Sauer a game. I believe him.
The best news for youse guys is that Marian Gaborik skated today. Still no timetable on his return, but that’s Step 1.

mao- i like that you think duby and cally are the greatest and all that. i love both of them. but is my post really that far off? so on a great team, lets say the hawks. where on teh depth chart would cally or duby be placed? 3rd line? 2nd line? ther not 1st liners, yet. i love callys grit and hustle and dubys skill. both are really good homegrown kids that grew up rangers and are proof that we dont need to look outside the oragnisation for talkent all the time. but cmon man, without gabby how long you think both of them can carry the load? a guy liek sharp, hes got what 10 goals? more than duby and cally combined and hes the 3rd best forward on teh team. i never said a bad thing about duby. in fact i always ask the same thing you do. why do people hate duby? or dislike him and his holdout or whatever. for what they do and maybe theyre not teh most gifted players, they are integral parts of any team. i’ll admit, when i wrote that post in the morning, i hadnt had my cofee yet, so yea i wouldnt say theyre 3rd liners. also, with the minutes theyve been getting, theyre right where they should be in terms of production. i will take back the 3rd liner comment. yes, it was earlya nd just woke up.
