                The Rangers return to action tonight against the Colorado Avalanche at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in the Blueshirts’ first contest vs. a Western Conference opponent this season.  New York has won each of their last two meetings with Colorado, out-scoring the Avalanche, 9-2, over the span.  The game will be televised nationally on Versus and can be heard on 970 The Apple.

  2. >>…Glen Sather announced today that forward Vinny Prospal underwent successful surgery

    Do teams ever announce unsuccessful surgeries?

  3. Good point JBytes. Sounds like his first operation might not have been that successful since they had to do this one.

  4. wicky

    how can a game about technically the same thing (shoot…crawl…run!) be different??

    P.S. next fantasy match-up is with your wife! She’s next on the list of wicky family victims defeated by the glorious CCCP!

  5. I agree aboot Jersey Shore. It’s pretty sickening that the people on that show have become millionaires because of that show. They get paid a huge amount of money just to show up at a nightclub and dance like a retard and have a few drinks. Unreal!

    I’ve only seen one episode and that was enough.

    Jersey = Barf Central USA!

  6. Speaking of the Isls…

    MSG crowd should change the “Potvin sucks” chant to “Wisniewski sucks” … sounds a lot more appropriate for today.

  7. Wonder if VInny’s knee was as orange as his face…Dr Feldman musta felt like he was carving a Halloween pumpkin.
