Prospal out, Drury may start on IR

More concern about Vinny Prospal, whose right knee was aggravated again while skating. He was sent for more tests today and will not play tonight or tomorrow, according to John Tortorella.

So that might open another spot or two for the centers in camp, especially since Tortorella added that he expects Chris Drury to open the season on IR.

For tonight’s preseason game, the final home exhibition game, Erik Christensen, who was scheduled to be prucha’d, is back in for Prospal. Todd White and Tim Kennedy are prucha’d, as are defensemen Michael Sauer and Pavel Valentenko — both scheduled to play tomorrow — and Michal Rozsival, who won’t play tomorrow either, with a bum groin.

Back with more in a bit.

I don’t know, we had the same thing happen to our dogs. We switched to Wellness and had no problems, until about a year ago one of my dogs, Abby again (problem pup) developed issues again. So this time my wife went all out and gets a new food called “Dr. Harvey’s Miracle dog food”. Its a base of food that needs to be rehydrated, then my wife cooks chop meat for the dog and mixes it together. Since we switched, Abby’s tumor’s have shrunk, her bald spot on her back went away and she no longer chew’s her paws or scratches her face.

  2. some audio on Sens twitter from Clouston, what a breath of fresh air, answers thoughtfully and candidly.

talks about giving young dman Cowen a good look tonight.

Maybe the Rangers can take it to him and put him to the test.

  3. Wow, that will make some cuts more complex. The good news- Stepan is almost certain to start the season. I hope they don’t want to keep White..

  4. Stepan should be the #1 center. EC should be just what he is, a utility forward who plays the lowest spot available. put him between Avery and Fedo

  5. Rangers Fans & DISH Subscribers:

MSG Networks’ agreement with DISH Network expired at midnight last night meaning that, if you are a DISH subscriber, you will no longer be able to watch MSG Network and MSG Plus, including exclusive live coverage of the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and New York Knicks, *along with other great MSG Plus and MSG Network programming* (they had to rub it in a little). While we were hoping we would be able to make a deal with DISH before our contract expired, DISH was not prepared to negotiate a fair market agreement with us. To ensure that you don’t miss any of the action, including Opening Night for the Rangers on Saturday, October 9th against the Buffalo Sabres, we encourage all of our viewers who have DISH Network to switch providers.
