It was a game they lost, 2-1 on an Ovechkin short handed goal. Why on earth did they show that?
I certainly wasn’t trying to replace carcillo. Nothing implies compost more accurately than Dan Carcillo.

Seats are directly behind the net that the Rangers shoot twice. Decent seats when the action is at that end. A little tough to see when play is at the opposite end of the ice though.

I see that you assumed that the Rangers won the Rangers in 60 last night, too. So did I and I sat there waiting for a comeback that I didn’t remember and and as time expired, sat there bewlidered. The Caps won 2-1 and the game was aired because it featured the Semin-Staal fight where Semin was on top of Staal and starting slapping him.
They showed the slap fight at least 5 times on the preceding MSG Countdown show. OK, we saw it, we laughed a little bit, and got over it.
To show the entire game in 60 was an absolute waste of time and whoever made the decision to air a totally forgetful Ranger loss, should be demoted to cleaning the Carcillo from the MSG bathrooms on game nights.

I didn’t see the aforementioned Rangers in 60, but it must have been and Isles or Devils that works in the control room at MSG to put that game on. I remember that the game winning goal came off a deflection off a Rangers stick too.

Guess I got “lucky”, my NHL network NJ/PHI game was not blocked out. I only watched a period or so before moving on to Dexter. My one impression was that Shelley was controlled chaos. While I don’t miss him, I do think he’ll be a thorn in our side when we play those bums. And so far as the MSG broadcast… ugh. I clicked on when Joe and Sam were telling Rangers fans how wonderful Ovie is. I clicked off shortly thereafter.
Mcllrath must be impressing coaching staff. Reports are that he was removed from “kiddie” practice and he will practice and scrimmage with “big boys”.

I distinctly recall Kharlamov the lightning bolt. The unstoppable one. What a talent. Didn’t he get killed in a car crash? I lost track. I also heard from somewhere that he was part Russian and part Spanish…true? Not that it matters. He was one of the topmost forwards I’ve watched in my lifetime.
