Happy Labor Day!

Anybody else working today?

Did you know that Labor Day has been celebrated since 1882 [1], which was Chris Chelios’ rookie year?

Thirty-four days until Opening Night.

You guys (Linda) already beat me to 34s Nolan Ryan, Walter Payton and John Vanbiesbrouck.

34: Peter Popovic (we called him “the Oarsman”).

34: Herschell Walker, Bo Jackson.

I don’t know how many of you remember the “Bo Knows” commercials. Those ruled! Also, he was scary good as a baseball player. Wish he’d lasted a while.
