If the Devils play like they did last night the rangers have a good chance. The Rangers have to keep their defensive play in check, or they don’t have a chance. If they play anything like last game forget it.
I hope Dubi ends Kovalchuks season tonight, and then Kovy wants to sign with us on July 1st, but he’ll only do it if Dubi gets traded, and then we package Dubi, with Danielle G, and maybe someone else for a solid D man.

Ugh, I hate MSG 2 by me. It is not in hi-def. I can watch it on MSG Plus, but then I have to listen to Chico. I think no hi-def is easier to stomach than Chico. Also, I don’t mind Ken Daneyko sooooooooo much anymore. He is still annoying at times, but I would rather listen to him over Chico or some others any day of the week. He was actually defending the Rangers last night in the Devils post game show.

My thoughts.
If the Devils score the first goal early in the game, our whole team morale is going to be blown, and I think we will start scrambling and get blown out.
If Hank is good early, and we skate with them and keep the puck out of our own end, we will have a chance tonight.
I don’t by any means think we will blow them out. If this game is to be a blow out, it is going to be them blowing us out.
Our team psyche is so fragile that we can only hope that Hank is good early. If he isn’t, this is going to be a very very very very long night.

MSG2 is so crappy, the sound never works for me, I end up watching most of the game without announcers, probably again tonight. But at least I won’t have to hear Sam and Joe spin everything.
Chico is especially annoying because he doesn’t know what he’s talking about most of the times. Most of his “analysis” revolves around Marteeee.

mcdonagh looked good. took the body well, cleared the front of the net when needed. he is definitely physical and plays that way. from what i saw, he looks to be a stay at home guy, tough and protected his goalie the few times the UM guys ran the UW goalie.
i didnt see him do too much offensively, i did notice he wasnt on the first group of the PP.
UW has a very good team. they are big, they skate, they hit, they are nasty when they need to be. they are #3 in the country, should be right in the thick of things come the frozen four.

Olli likes to go in to the crease too. He is a pretty big guy. We need guys in the crease, and bigger bodied guys who can score. He does both. If we could sign him for 3 mill a year for a 2 year deal, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. At least I don’t think I would have a problem with it. Need to seem him in a few more games.
