I’ve been up to my eyeballs in basketballs, and incommunicado all day. But I did just hear something that you probably all know already: That Henrik Lundqvist is sick, and so Ocho Cinco (aka Dos Nueve; aka Chad Johnson) starts in goal tonight.
Otherwise, we expect that Erik Christensen gets de-prucha’d—and actually promoted to one of the top lines—while Donald Brashear remains prucha’d and Ales Kotalik is re-prucha’d. Fun with words.
I don’t have much else, but you guys deserve a blank slate, since you’ve all behaved so nicely lately. Maybe I’ll give you all lollipops, too.

Can Drury ever skate in a straight line? He cuts and swerves a lot which he could do if he had Lisin or Gaborik speed but he doesn’t and he can cancel out potential odd man rushes because of that. Maybe because he’s afraid to get his clock cleaned but he rarely takes on a D one on one.

That’s where a lot of their problems come from. No one knows where to be in any zone. You can talk about the lack of physical play but without proper positioning they’ll run around in their end, sustain nothing in the other end and can’t transition in the neutral zone.

Well I just got home from the game. Not my greatest Ranger experience. My night started as my family & I walked right into a fight in the lobby of the arena. I mean punches being throw at me, over me ,all around me, between about 4-5 Ranger fans & a shit load of Yote fans. Fortunately my son got me out of the middle before I got tagged. Then the dumb ass Phx police try to throw us out for fighting. Not a great start to my evening.
Then the game started & that first period was a disaster. You saw it, I don’t need to tell you what happened.
BUT, I got to meet some of the guys from this blog. It was so cool to be sitting in my seat & having guys come up to me saying they are “boneheads” I got to meet NYRinPHX & his lovely wife Jenna & a guy named Will who told me he is a loyal reader but never posts. Even though we lost I gotta tell you I had fun.
My next game is Rangers/Islanders on 3/24 in MSG.
