So now the Rangers get the good teams—Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, Boston and the Devils in the next eight days. Uh-oh. Somebody better start scoring.
First move: Donald Brashear goes back in for Aaron Voros, who gets prucha’d. Why? Maybe there are 2.8 million reasons why. It makes less than zero sense to me, but what in holy Hell do I know?
Here is Tortorella’s morning skate press conference, in which he discusses the Brashear move.
He also said that Chad (Dos Nueve) Johnson is on his way back from Hartford, after playing two strong games over the weekend, but that Matt Zaba will be the backup tonight.
And it’s a Versus game. Oh, joy! Send in the clowns.
Here are tonight’s pregame notes. Do you guys find any use whatsoever for these, or am I just wasting time and energy linking to them?
In an unrelated item, a little while ago I linked you guys to our music blog, The Listening Room. Just thought some of you might want to vote in the latest poll there: best female singer. I think it’s a cool time to do it, because there are soooooo many unbelievable female vocalists in music today. So check it out here.
