So the Rangers think they’ve got enough NHL players to play without two of their top three centers? We’ll see. This is the first game without Chris Drury and Brandon Dubinsky, and I want to see how this is going to work.
That will probably be the column I write after the game.

TR and ilb, I learned a long time ago, at least from my perspective, that 100 section seats aren’t always great for hockey. I’m going old school here, so maybe everyone won’t get this, but in my day, the green seats were best. Low greens, of course….man, I had center-ice low greens with a friend a long time ago. Sweet days!
P.S. I forget who, but someone here remembers the colors cause he referred to blue seats, but then agaim that’s just classic. Back to TV…
IMO…best seats at MSG are directly behind the goal NYR shoot twice at in the 400s, either Row A or B. You can lean forward to see behind the net, you have a whole view of the ice and its high enough where you can see everything at the other end

Yep, my father had season tickets for a loooooooooooong time section 318, Row A, seat 4 & 5 for the longest time…Until Messier wasnt re-signed. Crazy though, in 94 – the tickets that were available were for Game 5 & 7 because we shared them with one other person. I said to him (& I remember it like it was yesterday) “this series isnt gonna go 7 games, game 5 they are winning it” DOH!!!! LOL

I think Avery had a better game today. He was trying to make things happen, though bounces aren’t going his way, passes aren’t connecting, puck is on edge with him, etc. Still, he isn’t doing the trash-talking and agitating that we came to love him for and that made him so effective. I hope that that Avery comes back…

But, lest you not forget, we got cheated at least twice in the 3rd period, cheated blatantly by the referees, and also cheated on that illegal hit on Callahan in the first period.

I was just talking about the lack of edge shown by Avery and the lack of Avery-like play this season. Torts has to keep Avery in line because the NHL is out to screw him. They are out to screw him because he dared to wear the Rangers jersey a few years ago and seemed to love wearing it.

kc- hank has no excuse to go thru his annual slump midway thru the season. hes been average at best for his standards and if he cant play 65 games then he needs to start hittin the gym. i never heard of a goalie who goes thru a huge slump at the same time every year. hes got no excuse for that anymore. hes been in the league 4 years now and is in his prime. he isnt old enough to get that tired and worn out

Hopefully, by blaming these putred corrupt referees. They screwed us out of what could have been a 5 minute major, what should have been a 5 on 3. These referees go about their business efficiently. They always pick key spots to cheat us, to “just miss that call”. Same ****, Different year.

Lundqvist’s main problem is his concentration, not his talent. The goal at 7 seconds should have been stopped. He can make great saves, but so did Hedberg. Is Hedberg really better than Lundqvist? Don’t think so, but he outplayed him tonight.

Duh Hedberg outplayed him tonight it was a crazy game cuz Rangers did have mad penalties and turnovers but it came down to the D and goaltending.
