It usually takes Gomez 5 seconds to turn it over (which is what the extra 500k is for). Pretty much either way we were screwed, but Gomez was more of a threat on offense. The only thing I can think of with Drury is that he's playing hurt. He looked fine in the preseason, he was faster, making good plays with the puck, and shooting hard (both wristers and slappers). Then he blocked a shot off his bottom hand in the preseason and he hasn't been able to do anything since. If there's one thing I can give Drury props for, he's tough as nails, but if he's really injured, he should heal up. I've been bashing on him all year but when I saw him block that shot last game, it reminded me that he took in the preseason and that after that block, he hasn't been looking to carry the puck much or even shoot his slapshot (which he always did). Love what Byers brings! What do you guys thing about Redden's play lately? I think he has been so much better than last season...good for him.
