He needs to keep moving and use his frame to shield the puck to take it wide or cut into the middle. See his set up of Gaborik's first goal and he's much more effective when he steams through the blueline and causes the D to turn around to defend him down low thus creating the seam that Gaborik glided into for a prime scoring area. Yeah Cally just seems like he just lost a little steam. Knowing his history of being the hardest working guy on the ice every night, lets chalk it up to a little post illness weakness. Dubi definitely isnt skating like he was. Could he mean Avery, who is a turnover machine?? Girardi could be a canditate too. Torts did not like that opening faceoff 3rd period tripping penalty.
