The Rangers have played four games, and won three in a row, with the same 19 players. But today they expect two lineup changes. Sean Avery goes in and somebody—Aaron Voros or Enver Lisin, we suspect—comes out. And Steve Valiquette plays goal to give Henrik Lundqvist a breather in the first of back-to-back and three-in-four-nights at MSG.
So much going on today: Giants, Yankees, other NFL games, other MLB playoffs, the Presidents’ Cup (I may be in the minority on that one, but I live match-play formats), and of course Ducks-Rangers at 5 p.m. No way you can watch all of them, and I have a family function around dinner time so I might not get to watch any of them. I’ll catch Rangers in 60, I guess.
The plan is that I will be at MSG tomorrow night for the Leaves (isn’t it time we get gramatically correct with that name?).
I’ll check in later when the Rangers post their pregame notes.
Here are the pregame notes (just for feedback sake, do you guys check out these notes when I post the link? do you download the long version?).
