But the regular season is much longer than the playoffs - I'll be satisfied if every game I watch, at MSG or on TV, there's a good chance to win. Give the young D the roster spots, they get experience and they come back better for it (or we see they can't handle it). Not all of them will be a success but you've got to think that 2 or 3 of Sauer, Sangs, Potter, Del Z, Heikkinen, Gilroy, McDonough are going to be good enough to make the team this year and can be rotated in 5,6,7 D-spots and used for 12-15 mins a night. We might not win the cup this year, but i think we are in for some high-scoring games..!! 22 – exactly. So I hope he gets his money and has a good career, wherever that might be. I think the disproportionate contracts on the team versus results hinders team chemistry, and if it doesn't, then hockey players are truly saints.
