Rick Carpiniello grew up in Harrison and began working in The Journal News' sports department (back when it was The Reporter Dispatch and eight other newspapers) in October of 1977 after a year of covering high school sports as a stringer. Good stuff. The kid seems really focused, which is great news.
The last line certainly will stir up the chatter on featuring him on the top line with Gaborik…best aspect of his game = passing.
I noticed an unplanned consequence of Newsday.com’s recent website change: All of their sports blogs are now being blocked by programs like Websense at a much higher rate than they were previously. Including the word “sports” in the web address is a VERY bad idea when trying to increase web traffic.

These nyrangerscast guys are pretty good. First Gilroy and now Anisimov. Interesting that Anisimov said the best part of his game is passing. I would’ve thought shooting.
We need a good passer now that Gomez is gone. It’ll take some pressure off Dubi.

yea, I’m almost at the point of not reading comments anymore. Give it a week or so.
I’ve read nearly every comment on here for years but nowadays its not worth replying to anything because half the comments are the troll imposter.
I will still read everything Carp posts but not the comments for much longer.
