I'm not a big Zherdev fan but i definitely think hes better than Kotalik. i would have rather had slats stand pat. this is 3 million dollars he's spent on another 2/3 liner that sather won't have to spend on players that have a greater impact down the road. I hate his mentality of spending money simply because its there to spend. The only silver lining is that Kotalik and Drury played really well together in Buffalo. Maybe they can rekindle that success, but im not holding my breath. Is Kotalik really only a quarter million worse than Z?
