Pretty crazy Rangers playoff ticket prices. This coupled with a tough economy leaves alot of great tickets available. This was never the case with the playoffs. Usually tix sold out very fast.

Could also be that the team doesnt have Jags anymore so their is no identifiable superstar. Fans who are paying big $ for tix are coming to see Henrik, Callahan, Staal, Dubi, and Sean Avery.

Don’t buy tickets – the Dolans have enough of our cash. Root for the Rangers in front of your TV powered by Cablevision.

best part of this season is, that they finally have a coach. if tortorella is given the talent, i have no doubt he will win.

*A max of tix…this was ALWAYS a max of 2 tickets per person……Jack up them prices Dolan !! You lucky freakin sperm that came out of Daddy Charles schmeckel

  5. Everyone – you can get tickets now at ticketmaster. Don’t have to wait till Monday. Prices are crazy. Here my post from earlier –

Not sure if this has been posted yet but I found a code for the presale –

    BLUENYR

I just bought for game 3 sec 321. Will be in Cancun for home games 1 and 2. Anyone know any good places to watch the game in Cancun?

  6. What?
we had one post for like two days
Now there is a new post every 15 minutes?

Carp’s got “happy fingers” I think.

Tries to portray himself as a neutral journalist; cold and aloof from the emotions of the fan but now he’s all excited about the Rangers and Avery and Torts and Hank and Dubi and Cally….probably wearing a Staal jersey right now…layin’ crunching hits on his lamps, coat-rack and cardboard cuttout of Scott Stevens….

    “you think you bad Stevens?”

  7. Typical bastard Dolan… he don’t give a f*ck that this team was mediocre all season long and that we *BARELY* made it in and that the fans are so *HAPPY* with the eighth place team! WHOOOHOOOO

  8. CCCP
How do you do that bold thing?
Sometimes I would like to hi-lite my expert pontifications

Does anyone see that laser hair removal ad that shows above the board? It happens maybe 50% of the time. On the right there’s either a girl’s crotch or hiney. Its sorta generic in a Ken doll way.

  10. True Fans?

There’s no hiney up there man…you been drinkin Uncle Jamima’s moonshine?

I am so bad….I am so bad, I should be in detention.

    ****************************************************

    GREAT MOVIE!!!!

and TrueFans, I referenced that ad on the manly men beard blog, i thought it was pretty ironic!!!

  12. Kaspar

just put asterisk before and after the expert pontifications that you want to hi-lite… don’t worry, I only learned it last night and already abused it lol

  13. Still cannot believe the prices of tix to non season ticket holders.

We have sat on this blog complaining about Redden, Drury, Gomez, Rozy’s contract…..and now we are paying for them contracts!!

Atleast put guys like Kovalchuk, Gobarik, JayBo, in Rangers jerseys so I don’t feel like *I JUST PAID ALOT FOR THAT MUFFLER*

  14. Wow, I think we should place bets if the Rangers will have a single scorer with at least 60 points. Is that too much to ask? 26 other teams were able to do that…many with much lower caps.Only Colorado, Isles, and Florida dont. Plus, two of the teams that dont have players with 59 points (which is still more than any Ranger), and freaking Streit of the Islanders has almost as many points as Antro. Which leads me to the final part of my rant…I’m glad the guy we traded for is leading our mediocre production.

Back on topic, my goodness those prices are crazy. Last year I went to the rock to watch the Rangers eliminate the Devils. I sat behind Brodeurs net, about 10 rows up and my ticket was like 93 dollars…that would probably have bought me 400 level seats at MSG (I’m probably exaggerating).

I think the Garden is going to have a lot of tickets on hand for games, i cant foresee corporations spending that type of money on playoff tickets, mighty hard to justify those prices in this economy to their investors. There could be a lot of empty lower level seats.

  15. Just listened to Tortorella — really like him. But it’s getting ridiculous how much the Rangers management are defending Drury — now he “cares too much” and it’s so much pressure to be captain? Please. He’s mediocre, and occasionally has a couple of good games. It’s shocking how much he gets defended and how many excuses are made for him. For all the crap that Jagr had to put up with from the hockey world, and yet Drury gets excuses made and it’s so much pressure and let’s all feel sorry because he tries too hard even though he hasn’t lived up to his salary for two straight seasons.

  16. True Fans Bleed RW&B on

KC, you are my new hero.
    -Your biggest fan.

PS: How about all the crap Jagr got for “half-assing it?” Remember when he said he was saving some so that he had a little extra for the playoffs? Well, Jagr saving some was still 73 points (someone correct my memory if I’m off by a few) and then DOMINATING in the playoffs. Let’s see what Mr. Clutchy Drouchy can do! He’s really a hack who’s had a couple great bounces in his life! It’s like playing the lottery, someone’s got it hit it and guess what people… Drury took the 5 year $7.1million per over the lifetime payout. Smart man.

Just wanted to make a quick but late comment on the cliching game. I thought we were fortunate to win it,but that being said, who cares at this point!!! As for who to play, again who cares!!! To win,you need to beat the best!

    LGR!!!!!!!!!!

  18. JD’s Blues are 2 minutes away from a playoff spot!! Crowd is as loud as last night at the garden. Congrats JD!!!!!

  19. Wow!! The team and crowd are acting like they just won the cup. Great for JD to help get them back to the playoffs – it’s a great hockey city!

  20. Nasty, re: your blackberry question in the previous thread …
We’ve been told just today that corporate is working on mobile delivery. I have no idea what that means.

Great job, J.D. and the Blues (isn’t that the name of Dolan’s band?)!

  21. And you all laughed at me when I said we gave St. Louis something to think about? You see now what I had planned all along. Dual upsets, the 8th out of the West and the 8th out of the 8th East faceoff in a mega-collision determined by me in those early weeks of February.

Just remember, we really gave them something to think about.

    Here comes the cup!

  22. Carpy,

Is Dolan still going through with the MSG renovation, which was slated to be ready for the beginning of the 2011 season?

I havent heard anything recently, hence why I ask

  23. Carp, started growing my beard right when we clinched… Got plenty of pictures of me beardless… Can’t wait

    let’s go rangers!

  24. hey Carp, im IN for the playoff beard (win a signed pack of razors competition??) thingy.

when and where do we submit photos??

i think everyone should start from scratch starting on sunday … rignt after the Rangers beat the Flyers !!!!

  25. @ JK1994

I was just in Cancun a few months ago.

The ONLY place that has NHL games is Pat O’Briens. I was able to catch the Rangers OT win in Chicago that night. The place has plenty of TV screens & they’re more than happy to accommodate with whatever it is you wish to see. You’ll without a doubt want to stay after the game because the place starts to jump when it transforms itself into a nightclub. There’s a lot going on in that place.

    here’s a link:

carp / jane – was there any discussion of bringing up A.A or Grachev or MDZ or any other standout for the last game?>? Or at least to practice?

I realize that some of these kids are the playoffs too but I think it could be useful for some of our younger players to practice with the team at this time of year.

Doubt Sather even knows we are in the playoffs.

  31. I was wondering if any of the ladies here tried the nono hair removal system? If you have tried it, did it work for you? How long did it take to see promising results? Does it work ok on sensitive skin? Thank you very much to all of you who answer!!! :)

  32. I believe what you posted was actually very logical. However, what about this?

what if you were to write a killer post title?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how too run your blog, however suppose
you added a title to possibly get a person’s attention? I mean Stanley Cup playoff tickets – Rangers Report is
a little boring. You might peewk at Yahoo’s front page and
watch how they write post headlines to geet viewers interested.
You might try addingg a video or a related pic or two to get readers excoted abolut what you’ve written.
Juust my opinion, it might bring your blog a liuttle livelier.

  33. When I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked on the
-Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I receive 4 emails with
the exact same comment. There has to be a way you can remove me from that service?

    Thank you!

  34. I seldom comment, but I looked at a few of the responses on this page
Stanley Cup playoff tickets – Rangers Report.
I do have a few questions for you if it’s okay. Is it simply me or does it look like a few of these
comments come across like they are coming from brain dead
folks? :-P And, if you are posting on other online sites,
I would like to follow you. Could you post a list
of all of all your social networking pages like your twitter feed,
    Facebook page or linkedin profile?
