You guys are all smoking crack. All this talk of trades is giving me gas. Dubinsky? Really?! Callahan = Rissmiller?! The biggest issue this team has is lack of a decent system and no accountability; and all that stems from the coaching. Not every AHL allstar can hack it in the NHL. I have a distinct feeling that if we ditched Renney, Pearn and Pellino, suddenly we become a much more prolific offensive team and still be defensively minded. Every player that comes here underachieves. I can’t think of one player on our roster that is OVERachieving. Maybe a couple are playing to their ability. We trade good young talent, they’ll go elsewhere and show us how wrong we are. The replacement we get will inevitably underachieve as well.

Hard for me to see how Sanguetti can be successful at the NHL level without gaining at least 10 pounds, I’m trying to picture a guy who is 190 lbs trying to move a 230 lb Bobby Holik from the front of the net…. not likely.

I agree, people do try to act all cool when they boo. I seen it, some loser trying to impress his gf who looked like Rocky Dennis from the movie Mask. He says “Ohh, i bet i can go down there and score goals, this team sucks, why do i root for them. booo”, ugh have another beer you fat fugg !!! And root for the Devs !

Did anyone ever see this video of this fan making fun of Steve Sullivan when he got hit with a puck, and Sullivan see’s him, then later in the game the puck flips over the glass and hits that same fan, and he’s bleeding, and Sullivan skates over to him and points and laughs at him. Its hilarious, and perfect karma. Its on youtube somewhere.

Anyway, its sad that the Isles have a better PP than Nyr. Its really embarrassing, all they have his no name players, and old guys.

This system is the problem, get rid of Renney, and the system goes with him. The Devs were great on the PP last night, and have been for a while. They used to suck just like Nyr, if they can change, why cant Nyr ?? Its pathetic.

Actually Nyr scored PP goals, in 3 straight games, but the last was a Penalty Shot, and before that was a rewarded empty net goal, so it doesn’t really count.

The Devils are scorching hot right now. And sheesh…look at who they have on their roster for heavens sake. They give an honest effort each and every night. You gotta respect how Lou gets the most out his players. Sutter has done a terrific job. Have you seen the PP lately? They were buzzing last night. Set plays and all.

Drury – 25 goals last yr and on pace for 23 or 24 this yr. kills penalties and strong defensive presence. have him on my team anytime.

Devils win because they have cutthroat accountability and a real system in place. Didn’t they also strip their Captain his letter last season when he wasnt producing? I’d like to see that happen in NY.

As for Malik, if you actually liked how he played… enough said…. keep posting, you are hilarious. I’m “sure” people booed Malik cause it’s the cool thing to do and not cause he was visibly AWFUL.

Try this: People sweat Drury’s sack cause that’s the cool thing to do.

i never really hated Malik at all, its all the fans who try to sound cool at the games and boooooo him. Now they boo Rozy, way to boost some confidence into the guy.

The defense is a little shakey, something is always wrong with every team in any sport.

TDCHI thank you , i agree totally with you! Some guys think that everybody down in Hartford is the next Crosby or Malkin. Really Absurd if you ask me. Speed isnt a factor anymore, sure as heck Brian Rolston is no speed demon or Bobby Holik. I just dont get how the Devils do it though? win when their team is nothing…..,

What have you got to lose so take a chance, its not like Dawes, Pru, score or whatever. Who knows whatever happens it may light a spark in the team, a la Sundin this past week.

Of course i would love to have Jaromir Jagr back!
